big buddah blue cheese grow 2

:clap: Awesome roots AG, do you ever run h202 through your system? I tried doing the aero in the bubbler but the sprays were getting clogged with rock wool, I didn't put a strainer on the pump. I'm considering trying it again with the 2 mommies I'm raising. How's the sickly looking plant doing?

hiya dikncider, i've got some pythoff which i use for disinfecting and sometimes add it to the aerogarden's rez. i did add it to the main bubblers when i was having problems with the taped up clear tub but haven't done recently. i add a little pythoff to a bowl of water that the roots sit when i change and clean the tubs every week.

do you mean the sickly plant that was in the aerogarden? if so, i chucked it out, i guess a couple of weeks ago.
 
just skimmed ur journal and checked out ur last update, dude...very nice setup and the plants are looking fucking A! keep it up man, iv got my chair ready so ill be around for this

looks real nice steve, wanted to drop by and subscribe bro looking forward to your outcome with the new setup. i was too lazy to read the whole thread so what strains ya got flowering right now? just the blue cheese?

hola mr bitti. yeah just the blue cheese atm. i have a new blue cheese and a bag seed in veg in the ag almost ready to clone from. i haven't recieved my new seeds yet but those won't get planted till i can maximise the tent space, probably with a sog ebb/flow.

I take it you prefer to work in cm...

so you have 123cm height.... right....

take away 18cm for the res... how many liters?

and you are left with 105cm...

take 5cm for the space between the totes...

and you have 100cm left....

take 18cm for the pot... and we'll round that off to 20cm... for conservativeness' sake... lol...

80cm left...

40cm for the plants...

and you are left with 40cm for the light...

Now.. I know it's going to be tight...

You will need ...

A - a piece pf glass on your hood and more slats on the sides...

B - enlarge the hole on top, to the point where the light assembly is out of the tent... no glass then.. the open hood should be the only way into the duct...

You could even shorten the plants a bit, and get 1/4 to 1/2 per...

20 and 32l respectively. i presume that's an A and/or B. i'd rather go with B'ish but i can mod the hood further to increase air throughput and at worst get a bigger exhaust.
 
You will need to cut the tray (the top tote) to 18cm high... about as high as the pots or slightly lower...

As for your light...

I did mean A OR B... both would not work together...

I wish you had a hood that had an in and an out.. but we WILL MAKE THIS ONE WORK...

So I guess the way would be to raise the hood flush with the inside of the tent...

You will need to MAKE SURE that there is no air from the outside of the ten being drawn...

It's gotta be 100% leak free...:eyesmoke:

glass for the hood is a no tbh. i was thinking with the tubs, the larger in height would go on the bottom. i'm just stepping back to the ebb/flow construction pictures you posted to check on the ancillaries.
