Biggest plant - Cloning questions?

This is my biggest plant, 1 month into veg, from seed, its getting to the point where its almost too big for the area its in. Was wondering where I would go about cutting the clone from.

I know its not getting enough light, but going to resolve that soon. It still has been growing nicely.

But for the most part, it does look healthy right? Going to transplant into bigger container soon, way too big for that 6" pot.

take a clone off the top in order to make the plant stop growing tall and transfer the energy to the lower growth

in between the stem and sucker leaves you have a sprout right there you can clone that but i would wait until the plant got bigger or it wont be big enoungh to clone

i was going to say that too good point BC but the plant is to small to take clones from anywhere else

if the plant has at least 3 nodes below where your gonna take a clone from and has a good leaf system then you can take a clone off the top but the more nodes before you take the first clone off the top the better

he has about three to four good clones and thats it on that one he needs to fim it

I'd say he has a good clone off the top and let the rest veg

that or manipulate the new growth using kinda like a vine fence where the vine get weved through the dimond shaped holes and he could get some chicken wire and kinda do some thing like that thus keeping the hight down but also making the plant be able to get more light

like a scrog

here's a thing I did quickly to give you and idea

here is some of my plants 1month and 2 weeks as u can see pruning does help i dont know when i should go to 12 12cant wait to start flowering very anxious this my firstgrow was struggling about 2 weeks ago bu doing wel also couple other pics i was wanting to clone also but dont know how goin to read what i can

Yeah, I planned on the main stem being the donor, but I just didnt know how many nodes down to go for. Want to give the bottom foliage a chance to grow more. Going to let the plant get about an inch taller, which is when its going to be too close to the light lol.

Also, whats the best way to generically root a clone lol? I had a small plant that I accidentally snapped the stem on, and I just put some soil and a papertowel aroudn the stem and kept it most for like 10 days and it grew enough roots to replant, should I do similar with this?
