I only used them with other products from "biotabs starter pack" and had the best grows so far. Important thing is to get rid of chlorine in water because it kills microorganisms. I do that with a cheap ozone generator pump.

Hey @dolchmann !
I just switched from hydro (DWC) to soil with biotabs!

So for as far as I understand:
- Like @otc-x1 sais, you should definitely use the starter pack (startrex, mycotrex, bactrex, orgatrex and tabs)
- Honestly you also need a flower pk nutrient supplement, if you can then go for their pk compost tea (you need to brew it in a bucket with water and airpump for 24h before feeding), if you can't brew the tea go for their liquid pk boost nutrient supplement! Really if you care about the quality of the flowers (and weight...) you need one of these two products. Go for the compost tea if you care a lot about flower quality, I don't think you can get much better quality with any different nutrient combo. --> Use this when you start to see flower formation / when the plant stops vertical growth a.k.a. 'stretching'
- Use quality soil either composted or a light/pro mix without nutrients, add perlite to have something like 10-20% for good aeration (this way it is more tolerant to you giving too much water)

--> Checkout biotabs youtube for how to use the starter pack

You could use biotabs' tablets without any of their other products but if its for cannabis then I highly suggest going for the complete package (starter pack + a form of pk boost), it will be more than worth it and make the grow a much more enjoyable experience.

And yes, basically you 'just add water' most of the time, however you need to add orgatrex + bactrex every time you transplant to new soil (to activate life in that soil), and also after spending something like 5 weeks in the same pot, I think to re-introduce some life into that soil ^^. Also during flowering add the pk boost a few times somewhere during the weeks 3,4,5,6,7... of flower.

The biotabs system is very simple to achieve amazing results, but it really helps if you take some time to understand the whole concept, then you can really use their system appropriately. If you want to just put a tab in the soil and add water and no more effort, then I recommend taking fast flowering plants and vegging them for very short - and I would still recommend a form of pk boost during flower... it really has a massive impact on the smell and basically desirability of the flowers.

Good luck to you!

I am trying for this first time this summer (I used to grow in soil and hydro for 10 years though), very hyped to see the results! (Can't wait to try their compost tea haha). If you are growing with biotabs, how is it going so far (and please post a pic :D)?
