So here we go again, my second grow. My first grow has shown me much. How big a mistake it can be to mix and match plants at different points of grow in the same system. Even though the plants where put together the fact that I put them in so soon before was a major issue with my final yield. This being said I have some left over clones of GC or the Cush. I'm going to keep this strain for now. All the clones and seedlings at this point have been given a slight amount of nutrients, about 50-100ppm of GH's Grow and micro(less than 1ml per gal of each). They are all currently being treated for root rot, due to the fact that I had that issue in my flowering room, and I'm worried about cross contamination. I've been using A Tea found on RIU and I realize it may conflict with my system, as it is low pressure aero(clogs and shit). I'm willing to take that risk to solve this root problem.

Here's a peak at the system specs.

Medium: Neoprene Collars(Switched from rockwool)
Nutrients: General hydroponics Flora, GH Micro, GH Grow, Botanicare Cal/MAG(Added Cal/MAG)
Tea: Botanicare ZHO, GH Ancient Forest, Botanicare Aquashield(Completely new)

Here is the new plan. I'm planning on vegging my clones until I get the screen I will make, with PVC, zip ties, and this new 2" x 2" chicken wire(square holes) that is going to be about 3' x 4'. This will sit about 9 inches from the top of the system. When this screen is full of plant material, I'm going to flip it. Thank you Lordjin for the outstanding scroging examples. I've been watching him do it for about 2 months and I think it's about my turn.

Lets talk about present. Currently I have 7 Cush plants growing in my veg room. Two of which are in bubble buckets. I've put the stronger cush plants inside the buckets. These seem to have healthy(somewhat) root systems right now or early stages of root rot. The tea seems to be helping everything thus far. The most notable factor is the explosive root growth in the past day or so(since initial treatment). Some roots still have issues but seem to be on the road to recovery. Beni microbes is working I hope.

The other plants currently in the veg room are 5 Blackberry and 1 Bubba Kush. These are going to be reserved for my third grow, or become mothers before that grow. However their progress will be logged as well as they continue to veg until that time. My hope is to get at least 1 mother out of them. I may Flower early just to see what the strain is like(for 1 plant) in a bubble bucket, in the flower room. However I doubt there will be room after the scrog is set up.

Will post pictures as often as updates, which will be a few times a week most likely.

My goal is over all healthier looking plants, energetic growth, and finally as a personal goal I would like to see a gram per watt. I plan to achieve this by not over feeding my plants, perfecting their environments, and using preventative measures to stop disorders in growth.

I am a California resident Medical Marijuana Card holder and a legal medical marijuana grower under Prop 215 and S.B. 420 and compliant.

Part of the reason I am logging this is so that I may have a reference for myself in order to properly identify issues with plants, should you think you see a deficiency in any of my plants please let me know. I don't mind other people sharing their thoughts or idea in my journal. Please feel free.

Cush being the largest plants, and the two in the bubble buckets. Checked plants this morning rot seems to be progressing despite effort with tea. Tried dunked several plants last night in hopes of fast results. I seem to have only spread the slime further. Some plants show promise however. I'm optimistic and am still looking actively for solutions. Second grow, starting rocky. :/

So I've dropped the bennies completely for now.(I will brew another batch and attempt to feed the kids quicker laters this week. For now h202. I was having a large build up in my res, it smelled like someone took a dump in my res. So I cleaned it with 10% h202 solution, the entire thing, performed a root dunk on my roots with a healthy amount of h202. From there I added the recommended dosage to my new res water. Seeing new root growth today. Also most of the plants look beautiful, with a few going through some unpleasant stress. That's ok, the blackberry is going to be a bit behind the Cush.

As for the scrog set up, oh do I have some pictures for you guys. This system is really coming along nice, I have some nice original*(hopefully) ideas that I've implemented to the system. It's almost done, I need to adjust the aero piping a little bit more. Plus, my plants aren't really tall enough for the scrog. The new cage is between 9-7 inches from the grow sites. I plan on trying 6 plants on a 3' x 4' screen. I would have liked it to be even, more like 4'x4,' but I need to access the screen. Shots of that and the "new" leak free system I've come up with. I think it may even rival some of the best on this site, LordJin... :bigjoint:

Pictures soon!

Beating back root rot like a boss with h202 treatment. Switched from bennie microbes to h202 about 4 days ago, and I've seen explosive root growth. However, I made a critical mistake yesterday and left the pump unplugged. These may be a little bit behind now, because I fried some of the roots. They where left without water for almost 8 hours. Not good right? I hope they will be ok, after the first watering they looked better(the roots) already. So I'm optimistic. 12/12 Flip happens when screen is full.

Let's get some views and comment action up on in here this time.

You did a beautiful job with the screen, Sliv. The only thing I would suggest is... nothing. It looks great.

edit:
Love the title of your thread, BTW.

Thanks man! I appreciate the support. If I can just get over my little hump yesterday and veg until that screen fills... I think the harvest would be good enough to last me a long time to come. I'm only doing this for personal consumption, but I still have standards. They are not yet met with my last grow.

I hope I can show you guys that I'm in this to win it this time. I put a shit load of effort into the design of my new 100% leak free system.
