Black Bugs

I have a mother bubble kush plant that had a dozen black bugs come off the leaves I trimmed off.
I used a 30 power microscope to view them.
They are 1/8" long.
Looking through the scope, they resemble a ladybug, but are more slender.
Some have a fluorescent multi color on their back.
The back has a slit as if they were wings, but these bugs didn't fly, they just crawled on the table.
They have skinny legs and it looks like some feelers on their head.
I don't know if they are good or bad.
I can't find any pictures on the net or on the forum.
Do you have any ideas???

Thanks

they sound like the ones i have. They don't appear to do anything but numbers have increased recently and i'm worried they might be laying eggs in the soil which might affect the roots. Will let ya know if i find out what they are.

Here is a picture of it. It is called a flea beetle. My bubble kush is gone. Dead.
I trimmed all the leaves off the Mazar. I will know in a few days if it will regrow. I just cloned 18 White Widow's crossed with Skunk. I will start flowering some others at the end of the week. I was going to flower the Kush, and Mazar because I have other clones from them growing into mothers, but I don't want to get any bugs in the WW. I found a very large bug the other day while trimming the Mazar. I looked at it under a 30 power scope and it was loaded with eggs. Killed that MF. From what I have heard from others, is that this bug is hard to get rid of. Good luck with it.
