The reason it seems like they are taking so long is because that 50 day flower time begins the day they show preflowers. The first day of preflowers is day 1 of flower. So I am assuming they showed sex/preflowers around October 10th. As of today they have been flowering/budding for 55 days. Start flushing them. Give them a good first flush today, give them 5 days and flush again and 5 days later harvest. You have those 10 days to let the plant use its stored nutes so that you can have a clean smoke. During this flushing period keep watch of the tricomes, they will change. Luck
Btw.....the prescribed flower time from the seed banks are not always right on. Those times are only possible if the growing conditions are very consistant and optimal.
bxe, Thanks. I was trying to use that chart! But then the color of the light - under that RS Microscope - confuses me!!!! LOL I'll look again tonight and report back here.
When all the hairs are still white and supple looking the bud also looks more puffy. As the hairs turn red/brown they shrink and dry out giving the appearance that the bud is shrinking, but the bud isn't doing that. No worries, just let her finish. Have you tested a nug yet? If not do it today. After this many days of flowering testing (when unsure of tric color) is the best way to tell if your plant is where you want it to be.
