The calax's swell, and the hairs wither so they look much shorter then when they where white.

Most people use the color of the Thrichromes more than hair color.

From my experience BlackJack is a tough PLANT and NOT sensitive,if you are running into a problem and from what I have seen in your pics you are pounding your plants with FERT.. and some of photos show darkening Green and dark greenish brownish patches in The GROW BIBLE it show a to be over fert...Flush REAL good till you get a run off of no more than 0.2 of what you put in.You must not get nute/toxicity lock.I have done all kinds of things to my BJ to see how tough and Damn bro they are impressive. all short of over fertilizing.I have tried to dryout I even had to leave for family reasons to another state for three weeks(wife water and failed to adjust PH (atleast 8ph in coco this is very bad and with no food and they just kept kicking,I have even set heat to 91f (I know why would I do this because Im choosing the best out of my 6 strains to make my own in 2 to 3 yrs so I want the a very strong MALE/Hermaph).

are you using PPM or EC meter and is your PPM a 5oo or 700 im in the 5th week of veg and they want more nutes at 1.9 ec or about 1400 to 1500 ppm I always USE my EC reading this will always be correct.
Just my Two cents>GOOD LUCK I wish the best and please let me know how it smokes I cannot wait.

If you look though the journal I've feed only composted manures with teas. Best I can tell it was from a cold drop I had. I got the temp up the damage stopped spreading. So I would agree they are hardy.

I have myself shocked my plants by inducing water that was 12+* cooler than ambient air it shock the hell out of my great white shark mother two years ago. When you figure it out please let me know so I can avoid if it other than cold shock.

I think you'll like these pictures. The closeups are all of the plant pictured previously. I'm almost all cloudy now and an occasion amber.
So how much longer does it look now?
The 4th and 5th pictures are of bud thats was clipped (for a little smoke) and the picture taken inside. So there I see them at the top of the bud to big hairy balls. Looks like she is trying to be hermies on me. I can't find any more on any of the girls.

I went in right after the HPS went dim and took these pictures. They are much clearer and are the only pictures I've taken that include the whole plant well.
You can see dark color developing on the bud.
I know their stressed. I had a cold issue its resolved now. But over all I'm impressed with the plant I think I'll get a decent yield. Hope you enjoy them.

Actually you had serious pH problems, and what appears to be a lot of light burn. Cold does not affect the plants except to slow down the intake of nutrients. Cannabis does not yellow from cold weather, it stays green until it freezes.

All these plants are outside in December in 39*F weather, notice how everything around them is dead or dying. It's what makes cannabis so easy to spot with helicopters so late in the fall. Everything else dyes back, but cannabis remains green as can be. Until it freezes, usually come out one morning and find frost all over the plant....even then it's still green, but it's going to die days later.

You can see I wasn't keeping up with the feeding on the larger one there, it was eating like a hog.

You can see your pH problems in your plants. Cold might have effected your pH, different temperatures will cause pH to rise and drop.
