Bought some blood meal today. Have three plants. one about a month old swag plant, and two feminized autoflower bubblicious from nirvana about two weeks old. Question is when to apply? How much to apply? and how to apply?:leaf:

Blood meal is typically quite high in Nitrogen. Its a good way to quickly add Nitrogen too. Whats the total time to finish for the bubblicious?

Unless you're mixing the blood meal into a new pot (are you transplanting), then you can top dress the medium? wait, you're using soil? or what? You don't want to burn the plants, so I would use sparingly - what size containers right now?

The expected finish time for the bubblicious is ten weeks from seed to weed. the plants are in soil under 1 125w hydrofarm fluorescent. I want to do maybe one application of blood meal and one bone meal but may not have enough time. I don't want the nute taste in my bud so i may just go without fertilizer at all.

Also i fertilized the swag plant with the blood meal today. I topdressed then watered it in.

plants are in 6 inch pots. thinking about transplanting but idk this is my first grow so i'd be happy with two 10 inch plants yielding a quarter each

i would up-pot them into bigger container. at least give it a bit more room for the roots? maybe 1gal pot? even if it its a shorter plant (are autoflower ones shorter?) ive not done autoflowering, so i cant strictly speak. But basic botany, blood meal is just a natural source of Nitrogen, and its not going to give a nute taste to your plant. Just dont over do it. I dont know if bone meal is good in containers. Ive tried it with mixed if any results. Think I saw sumwhere here on RIU about it not being that effective in some type of containers, maybe that meant soil only, or other substrates such as hydroton or coco, etc. The stuff is just super chunky and really gotta stir/mix it up, otherwise it just doesnt saturate really into the medium and just stays on top a lot.
