Blowing Hot Air!

I've been trying to figure out a way to properly vent my reflector. I had a fan blowing across the reflector which helped but is not efficient. The AC had to run quite a bit to help keep the room cool. I finally decided to hook the fan up to the reflector until I can afford a good inline fan for the job. Surprisingly it works better than I thought it would.

I already had the ducting waiting to be used so I just needed a 8" to 6" reducer for the fan. About $10 and 20 minutes later my light reflector was being air cooled much more efficiently. Total cost was less than $50 if you include the items I already had.

The air coming out of the duct is 85-87 degrees on a temperature gun. The temperature in the closest has dropped a few degrees while the AC is running less. This should help my overall electricity cost.
