So I got an update for the ebb and grow. With 3/4 inch pvc to connect the buckets 250-350 gph return pump it works just like the UC system. It's not a super duper strong current or anything but it's a little vortex in each pot, pretty cool. The seals on the pots are alittle tricky, about half my buckets are leaking right now. Good thing I did the test runs outside. So all I have left to do is fix the gaskets, then put pvc cement on everything. The way I found out is because my 350 gph pump works about 5 gallons too fast. But it only gets about 1/4" over the actual turn off switch and the gravitation pressure allows the water to disperse quickly enough for it to not over flow. Had the system runnin for about 5 minutes now. About to go back out an make sure its not over flowing lol. But it works just like the UC system from my understanding.

I think with a weaker pump, like 250-300 is more ideal for 3/4" PVC, because after awhile the last 4 buckets have less water then the first set of 4 which I can understand because of the return pump being alittle strong. Also when doing this, you don't need to fill it all the way to the top of the toggle switch. You can drop the level to about 1 1/4" below the toggle switch and it'll still work properly. This is where I set the water level when I first did the test because I didn't want it to overflow onto the controller unit and messsing it up. I was thinking that if I did fill it up to the switch, then it would over flow because of the pump. So if you fill it up to the switch a 250 gallon pump would be more ideal because there's less water being pumped into the controller unit. It will disperse a little slower, but it works!

Ok, so just ordered my 250 Gal pump. I'll be keeping the 350 as a back up. I'd prefer to under kill it slightly then to over kill it in this situation. Reason being an overkill will flood my room and and an underkill will still allow for circulation, just not as strong. Rather be safe then sorry.. Plus I think it's a safer bet to stick with the 250. Should be here in a week or so. I think I'll be using the 350 to quickly drain the resi's and what ever other work I need done that requires moving water. I think I got like a total of 6 pumps now lol. 5 submerciable and 1 inline, and i just ordered another inline. Kinda weird, but now that I think of it. I've been in situations where I had to immediately switch out pumps, so I guess it's always good to have spares around.

So I've been doing alot of research and I talked to the hydro guy at the store. They don't make 2 gallon lids for the ebb and grow, but they do for the 3-5 gallon... Needless to say I'm alittle irritated. So I'm thinkin about buying 20-25 buckets 5 gallon buckets, then re-doing the system again but with 5 gallon buckets the whole way. Then I'll have to buy the lids too. I saw a batch of nets with lids in pairs of 20 for like 90$ which would save me alittle bit of money cause at they hydro store their like 6$ a piece. The buckets at lowes for 25 of them which are grey is like 75$ roughly or at home depot for the orange buckets for 27 of them 68-69$. Money isn't too tight so I kinda need an input on which bucket to go with. I'm thinkin that the color wont make a difference but thats why I'm askin.
Shit after I'm 100% done with this transformation I'll only be using 1 of cap's products and that'll be the controller unit. I think with the rest of the buckets. I'm gonna just do fat ass coco consitant runs. Sea of green statis. Harvesting 5-6 plants per week. While I keep the precious strains in the hydro runs, to get the highest possible quality of bud that I can grow :)
This has got to be one of the most exspensive hobbies I've ever gotten myself into, but at the same time it feels like it's probably one of the most rewarding things as well.
INPUTS!!! PLEASE!!! lol

5 gal bro do a lil more veg its easier to work with less numbers when you are physicallly pottying you know? ebb and flow tables are much easier with high number of plants in rokwol blocks or anything not using individual pots really... and always safer to work with less than 100

Yeah 5 gallons will end up pullin better crops IMO, just sucks that now I gotta spend more dough lol. It'll all pay off thou, as for the flood table system, that was actually how I got into hydroponics. Their cool for veg, I hate them for flowering unless you keep your girls small.
All n all, I'm glad I went threw with the whole customization because now I have a more efficient system. All I gotta do is order up the mondo hoods an one room will be done. I'm thinkin 24 mosters for one room hydroponically, then the other with a sog in coco.

OK so in the coco run things are looking good n healthy. But I've noticed that the majority of the plants have almost completely stopped growing. All plants are between 24-26 inches. Their all super bushy but their not as tall as what I'm normally used to on the flip. Seems like with the gas lamp tech, it almost stops the stretch completely. I hope it doesnt affect my overall out come. If they stay the same size I think 2.5 oz to 3 oz a piece is likely.

Ok so the big one all spralled out is the chemdawg(the first picture)
2nd is the masterkush in front with the dj shorts blue berry kush in the back, think it's alittle stunted.
third one is a mixture of the church and blue dream, couldn't just fully drop it.
fourth is the clones, look alittle sad this time around but not yellowing or dying so thats good. This is also going to be the longest wait I've ever had for roots, thinking thats because I used GW to help induce rooting... Never again lol.
Then the fifth is the room view from the back, I got 6 churches in 3" nets lining the back of the room hoping for a qtr each. Then a OG in the middle which is picture number 6, picture 7 is some of the churches lining the back wall.
The OG is doing absolutely fantastic, next to the blue dreams master kush and chem dawg. So far the blue dreams my favorite, until I see finished product from the other new strains lol.

Fox farm ocean forest? Lol if so that was a guess off the top of my head lol. If so your girls will do amazing in that stuff. My last harvest turned out pretty good, that's why I decided to step up the numbers a bit. All the plants are right around 25-27" so I'm hoping they atleast hit ip to 32" average. Also I think I'ma throw the trellis back over it

To be honest I was thinkin this run was going to be the smallest in terms of plant size, but I think what I'm lackin in height I definately made up in the bushiness of the plants. Right now the average size is between 29-33 inches kinda hoping they peek at 3 feet :) it'd be only 4-6 inches shorter then the hydro run. I just got a sample off my chem dawg strain, tastes pretty good. I think I might be able to improve it with my recipe. Also I'm doing a test run with the og so I can't wait to see how it turns out. It depends on some of the clones lives lol.

Not yet, the caulking I used ended up drying out an cracking so I need to find out which caulkig to use. Also Im going to wait until I got extra $ so I can upgrade everything to 5 gal buckets an nets. I'll probably launch the uc system the next round after the coco.

Ok so there's the new overview of the room. I had to stand on a 5 gal bucket to get this shot lol. Also re-arranged the lights for a better more even spread across the girls.
2nd picture is of the og that's also in the flower room. 3'rd one is a picture of my 2 new mothers for the church strain, the fourth is my blue dream mother, 5th is my dj shorts blue berry kush strain, then 6th is the master kush strain. 7th is the chem dawg mother, then the last one is a picture of my clones, all blue dream except for the last 7 cuts those are og's. I needed to test the strain an still get some clones so I decided to flip the mother.
