Blue Himalaya Diesel and MI5 - Short Stuff - CFL Grow Journal

Whats up guys, im getting one last indoor grow in before spring

I'm trying to keep cost as low as possible with my setup, but here it is anyway:
-1x Himalaya Blue Diesel - Short Stuff 1x MI5 - Short Stuff
-3x 20w CFL red spectrum, 1x 150w CFL blue spectrum
-£1.60 compost, mixed with builders sand and small stones for drainage
-Tomato nutes from local garden centre (N-P-K) = (4-4-8 )

I'm growing in a cupboard which i've lined with tin foil and covered with a cardboard box to stop light getting in/out.

Both seeds have germinated, i'll get them in the soil tomorrow. Ill post pics once they have sprouted, so probably in 3-4 days at the most.

our mi5's are at the exact same stage in life :) im using 3 cfls 2 bright whites and one daylight as well as a 24" plant bulb in a small closet with reflective insulation covering it and a small floor fan to circulate air

Haha nice one, have you got a journal going? What wattage are your CFL's? I literally just harvested my 2 MI5's from my last grow a few hours ago, got 164g wet weight which isnt bad for the cheapness of my grows

Both plants are starting to develop nicely now

I'll be ordering some of that himalayan blue d real soon, pulln up a chair to se how yours do, good looks.

Lookin good brother I will keepin up with this grow I might want to get some Himalayan blue diesel (such an amazing name). My Mi5 are coming along dude the three are all flowering but I don't think I will get as much weight as you did but lookin good so far. I subscribed too.

Good on you, it seems to be an alright strain from what i've seen in other journals. Just come it smokes good :)

It is a pretty seductive name, i just come the same can be said for the smoke. Yeah they didnt yield that badly considering the cheapness of my grows. I was at 50g dry weight before i started smoking it all. Its a good smoke, gives me serious munchies !! Give them time, they really fatten up towards the end of flowering period.

For sure man I am in no rush I will take my time and let them yield but your plants are getting that age where they just explode with growth

man they are getting big hey jamie my little 3 inch tall mi5 that was super deformed I cut it down and dried it on a cfl and smoked it in a piece its a fucking heady high with major lock.But I am picking up a few BHD too real soon man I have been checking out others grows grow they look amazing and seem to have really good genes good call.

Was it ready for harvest? Yeah, i get major couch lock with MI5 ! I ordered some new Short Stuff seeds on Saturday and they came today. 2x Himalaya Blue Diesel 1x MI5 1x Onyx. I'm looking forward to the onyx, it looks like a very nice auto. Those 4 are all for my outdoor grow, so hopefully the yields will be much bigger.

HBD is going great. One of the MI5 leaves started crisping up and curling upwards, i think that was due to heat so i moved it a good few inches away from the lights. Do you guys think its heat thats caused the leaves to curl up?
