Blue og, good shit or just shit?

Starting a small grow, first time in a long while. Got an order from attitude (eventually), got 5 barneys farm lsd and 2 freebies which werent the ones i was supposed to get, but there were problems getting the seeds here. They gave me a ch9 jack, which ive heard is quite good, and a g13 blue og, which i cant find anything on. So ive started an lsd and the blue og.

Anyone planted the blue og before? Wondering if its any good or if i should just plant the jack. Any info would be great.

My neighbor just cracked 5 of them, new strain that your not gonna get much info on. Og x Blue Moonshine, 8 week strain.

I plan to run these outdoors this season

Fair enough, guess i'm pioneering then haha. I planted the jack anyway, wattage was an issue but i scored a 600w hps with a ballast and in a reflector shade setup for $25 (lulz). Some guy was getting rid of all his stuff.

How bad can it be? I mean its BLUE MOONSHINE and OG KUSH....has to be atleast DECENT lol. Nice score by the way!

yeah i want that strain... blue og. it sounds real good and that company is good.

the ch9 seed i ever had was a 100% male plant from "fem" seed. aroma. i was pissed, it had nice genetics on paper

Never used fem seeds before, i'll just be really anal about light leakage, i'm usually pretty lucky with getting females. Problem is hermies ;( as long as the blue og and more importantly the lsd is fem i'll be stoked.

I got a great G13 PE seed that is blowing my mind, so ofcourse got the Blue Og. and BC Kush along with only 10 dollars

I would want to germ the Blue OG before Barney's unstable s33ds. I'll make a bet that the Blue OG turns out better than any of those LSD s33ds... I've bought 3 10packs of barneys in the past and not a single plant in each pack was similar. I think I had one plant that was above average out of 30 s33ds and even it wasn't a keeper.

If the CH9 doesn't hermi > your extremely lucky...Last time I popped CH9 freebies I got all herms. and then the breeder calls it "grower error" without knowing anything about the grower's setup; or the fact I run many strains in s33d form and clone with no hermi caused by stress.

Just keep an eye on that CH9 sh*t until late flowering

i also received a blue og seed as a freebie and it was the only one the ddnt germinate and i waited like 3 weeks too...

I started a blue og about 2 weeks ago that i got as a freebee, also just harvested a g13 labs diesel autoflower and im about to harvest a samara seeds ultraviolet if anyone is interested

I have a freebie fem blue og that has shown great growth characteristics so far! I have taken a couple cuttings and they are about ready to head into flower in the next week or so. Mom is looking very good! The genetics seem to be there... I'm hoping for a winner! I'll try and remember to post something once some real changes start happening.

L.S.D is one of the best smokes I've had, no clue about the others =[ lol.

Can be a very nice grown if handled properly. Depending on which Pheno you get, either Single-cola or branching, you can really max her out. The single-cola just needs lots of luv-- no tying or bending-- she don't like it! IF you are lucky enough to get a branching or x-mas tree pheno--- do some LST on her while still indoors to keep her low and wide... then use "U-shaped" pieces of coat hanger wire to re-tie her when she goes outside. Keep re-tying until she is about 3 ft tall and 4+ ft wide. NEVER tie the string on the branches too tight or they strangle...... remove ALL the ties at the end of July, before she starts to bloom. You will have what looks like a SCROG and scads of colas to harvest!!
Remember to amend the soil ahead of time with organics to take a lot of the hassles out of the grow. Worm castings and a good dry organic fert is all you should need unless you have hard or sandy soil.. then just add some Light Warrior or Promix.

I just actually finished a blue og, her aroma is sweet she smells absolutely delicious and the smoke is smooth with a bit of a zing to the back of the throat but I'm sure with a good cure that will go away! It hits ya like a freight train, my buddy forgot everything he was doing haha definitely some wonderful night time smoke puts ya to sleep in an hour or so ... heres a quick pic of the lady..

Nice work. Post up the cured smoke report too. I love seeing this info. I have one cracked right now. Sweet.
