Bluefin Tuna's parents are Tuna Kush and Blueberry, suppose to have some funky smells and tastes, and be very potent.

Funny, I can find the weed for sale on line all over Canada but no seeds that I can find yet.

I have tried A couple things he has that I also have and they seemed legit to me.

Unfortunately Hazeman's version uses Blue Dream instead of Blueberry and the Haze in BD makes the hybrid more sativa bent than the indica dom we're getting in Canada.

AK bean brains doesn't carry it and I'm having trouble contacting them about breeding it.

I'm thinking of pollen chucking to see if I can come up with a decent strain, but I know nothing about breeding. How do we know which strain (Tuna Kush x Blueberry) is female and which is male? Does it make a lot of difference?

Could it be clone only?

I've searched for clones for sale but found none, and in all the literature about BFT no one mentioned clone only. Just Tuna Kush x Blueberry.

I'm going to contact breeders online about taking over the breeding project, Dr Greenthumb already said that he has no interest in the strain.

The thing about blueberry is very few phenos were blueberry.
DJ shorts shit threw a bunch of herms and zero berry anything out of ten packs for me over a decade ago.
I had much better blueberry phenos out of straight afghaan stock multiple times over the years.

The true blueberry was a bad indoor plant to grow but was an excellent outdoor specimen. At least the cut I had 20 years ago was. I received it from an old head.

In breeding terminology, the female plant typically goes first in the naming convention. For example, “Tuna Kush x Blueberry ” means tuna kush is the female plant receiving the male blueberry.

I got a fairly positive response from one dispensary, wanted to know why i was so interested in BFT, they were thinking of adding a seed bank.

Right now the only option is to devour Pollen Chuckers and get some beans for blueberry and tuna kush.
