Bluetooth hygrometer, my thoughts

So I bought a hygrometer Only this 1 is Bluetooth, it's around £8-12 so not too expensive, you download an app then you pair it then you have a digital display on your phone to keep track, and the party trick is that you can set it up to send you notifications if the temperature or humidity is higher or lower than your desired temperature and humidity levels you've set in menu,so you can keep a log and adjust your climate accordingly, it's really useful if you have a loft for example and you need to monitor high or low temps, without going up and down the loft, you cab buy a better 1 than has a detailed graph with data, but you need to buy a gateway for it,

I love my Sensor Push. Does temp and RH. Awesome tool to dial things in and keep track.
I liked it that nuch I went on to buy another 2,1 for my veg room and for a mate, I like the fact you can get notifications sent if it gets too cold or hot etc, neat little device, good battery life too still on 80

If you're on the fence about a remote temp/humidity sensor bc of price or efficacy just pull the trigger. I have a wife, life, and no viewing window so the remote sensor is necessary for peace of mind even if it is just a ballpark figure. Also helps me stop fiddling around my with my tent so much.

I'd exercise more caution about IoT devices that sync via your home's wifi...much more susceptible to hacking. Found this out when researching pet/baby cameras on Amazon and probably important to know for those growing where cannabis is not yet legal.

Sensor push sells their own wifi gateway so there shouldn't be any issues there or if you're strictly sycning via bluetooth.

I was interested in Sensor push for the away from home features until i found the La Crosse Alert Mobile System. Its a lot cheaper. You can buy them used from Amazon Warehouse for like $15 and up or new for $25-50 depending on what type of probe you want on the second sensor.

This set below comes with a wet and dry sensor.
