Anyone got any experience of using blumat soaker hose ?
Have seen plenty of threads using blumat but not using the soaker hose ?
Mines designed for a 4x4 so thinking cutting it down to suit this pot ? Cheers ☮

Do you use gravity or a pump with soaker hose ?
Cheers ☮
I used a really small pump, but I don't think it was necessary. I tried using them with rockwoool slabs and it didn't work out well, but I've switched back to coco so I might try them again in the future.

Yes you can cut it to length.

Blusoak/Capillary Mats
Q: How many feet of tape should I use, is there a minimum or a maximum?
A: Assume one foot of Blusoak for every square foot of growing area. However we generally don’t recommend blusoak in containers less than 30 gallons.

The economy design features a single tropf Blumat sensor, which feeds into a length of drip tape. The tape can be cut up to 20′ long, as long as the length is on level ground, or a slope with less than 1% grade.

The tape length is concluded with a flush plug, or alternatively a flush valve.

You'll want to get a wave maker because of how slow it uses the water. My salts were falling out and gunking up everything.

I've got a blusoak system ready to set up in a 4x4 bed. There are some good videos of them being set up on youtube, def recommend watching a couple because it all makes sense after seeing them.
