Bob Barr for president

I thought for sure that I would see at least one person talking about Bob Barr. In my opinion he is the only person who has a slight possibility of doing anything different. Was a Republican that later became a Libertarian, admits his mistakes and now is for small government and personal freedoms.

If he really believes what he's saying he'd be a good choice. I always vote libertarian unless for some reason I'm voting against somebody.

Yeah, I think his past voting record as a Republican will loose him some votes but if nothing else hopefully he/the Libertarian's will get on the ballot in more states.

Bob Barr is a neo-con wrapped in Libertarian clothing. He will not get this Libertarian's vote...Ron Paul will. At least Ron Paul has a proven voting record as opposed to empty words/promises from that asshat that somehow got the Libertarian nomination.

Geeze Dave, seems like you dislike a lot more than you like. So being on your dislike (Hate) list, may not be such a bad thing,~LOL, happy motoring Dave.

That's a good point, but I remember Bob Barr. He was adamantly against even considering the benefits of legitimizing anything cannabis-related.

Bob Barr is an opportunist in a desperate attempt to save his political hide.

It is true that was against a lot of things that he is for now, however he doesn't try to cover that up. He faces his mistakes and now advocates for legalization among other things.

Also I have definitely consider that this maybe a ploy just to tell people what they want to hear (he is a politician). However, I personally think McCain has lost touch with reality when he said in an interview that we could be at war for 10 years, 100 years maybe 1000 years and the American people don't care and for that I only I would not vote for him. As for Obama I think it would be cool to be alive for the first black president but one I'm fairly sure he would/will be assassinated so you are really voting for his VP and two he doesn't stay with the same point of view on issues in his interviews. Then his people either claim he was confused or that it was out of context and that his views are on his website if you want to know what they are. If he can't tell people what he believes in and has to refer you to a website I call bs.

Finally for VTXDave Ron Paul is not even still in the runnings so you might as well vote for Ronald McDonald and really I would say that it is possible that a person realizes that they were on the wrong path and makes a change but I guess I am the only one that has been there and done that. I suppose everyone else just makes 100% perfect choices or lives all fucked up and does not care to change. More over he has been approved by the Libertarian party I would assume that they would know him much more than you or I.

I would never vote for a person just because they are for the legalization of MJ. Bob Barr, as a Republican, usually voted against big government.

I don't know what the Libertarian party was thinking electing his ass. There were some others that were just awesome! It sucks..we're fucked no matter who gets in office. :(

Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, Dictator, Socialist, Communist, Facist, Capitalist, & so on...the list is absolutely rediculous in my opinion. You wanna know what they really all have in common in case no one listened to the late great George Carlin - "THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU." The truth if I ever heard one. It's sad, but no matter who you vote for please know that all of your choices only care about theirselves otherwise no one would question their motives - think about it. Whoever does get in office will PROBABLY even make some choices in the interest of the public, but in the end it will only be to further their personal objective of imposing their own views on masses. Everyone in this country was FUCKED IN THE ASS when we were born & given a social security card. That thing is like the governments title to your life.

What, and have my social security taken away, You've smoked "one toke over the line, sweet Jesus".
"Those who give up liberty for security have neither."

"There are none so enslaved as those who think they are free when they are not."
