damnnn huh. i didnt kno those seeds went for that much!!?? thats crazyyyy. and yea im planmning on making a batch of seeds from my Floja as well.. got 3 goin right now.. 2 have nice deep purple stems... but are only about a week old... tehn i have one other one like 2-3 weeks old. gonna keep the pollen (if its a male) wether its the green pheno or purple pheno.. and just save it just in case i cant find a good purple male. but thats good to know that theyre that rare & expensive. if i do get that puple male tho from the floja... gonna make alotta seeds with that.. gonna cross it with my bubblicious and warlock, northern lights, adn AK-48 as well

You and I both, CHB.

I'm crossing everything I can on this run.
DPD x Chernobyl
DPD x ( SR71 PK x Appalachia [Green Crack x ChemDawg BX3] )
Chernobyl x SR71 PK

Hell, I may even break out the Gorilla Grape ( Purple Urkle x DPD ) pollen !!
As a matter of fact, I'd be a fool NOT to use the GG pollen.
I'll basically be BX'ing some DPD genetics since these are from the same lineage that Outlaw used.
So yeah, I'll be hitting my DPD female(s) with some GG pollen !!! lol

I just read from Outlaw Grower himself, that his gear will be available again later this year and he has everything except Gorilla Grape, which was lost in the bust.
So there will be more DPD and hybrids of it in the future !!

My man Neumann posted this in my C99 thread, but I thought it useful here too so I copied and pasted it.

I read this on another forum today.http://urbangardenmagazine.com/2010/...water-culture/ Really good read, Here's something pertaining to recent questions:

"Q: Can you run through your recommendations for propagating plants destined for DWC?

A: Establishing cuttings with an aeroponic cloner using 1/8th strength nutrients is ideal, preferably under mixed spectrum T-5 lighting. Propagating bare root plants suits DWC best. This offers an easier transition to water culture given there is no wicking substrate (rock wool, Sure To Grow) to hold excess moisture too close to the root crown.

Q: Is there an ideal water level to be maintained in the reservoir?

A: Start with the bare root submersed to the base of the rooted stalk, being sure to not submerse the stem or stalk tissue so as to avoid water logging. If using a wicking substrate, ensure the cube is approx. 1“ above water line; this may necessitate hand watering for a few days before the roots hit the water.

Q: What are the potentialities for plant steering using water level / amount of root zone exposed to the air?

A: With water as their growing media, growers can tailor nutrient solution parameters more specifically. Provoking plant responses such as essential oil production, fruiting and flowering are better manipulated when the substrate can be dialed in. For example, higher exposure of the root zone to atmospheric oxygen can help trigger a plant to increase oil production as a means to conserve water, and can also apply mild root stresses that are often interpreted by the plant as reproductive cues. While higher water levels can cause plants to focus more energy on vegetative production, particularly fan leaves, which in turn speeds transpiration and photosynthetic potential."

And I posted this in response:

So I see the trick in DWC is :

High rez level that's touching the net pots during Veg = increase vegetative production = more bud sites = more yield

Low rez level, 2 - 3 inches below the net pots during Bloom = increased oil production = increased resin glands = increased potency, while aiding in seed reproduction as well.

I am going to do this in my current grow and see what happens !!!

I immediately noticed a difference between grows when I kept my nute solution at the very bottom of my net pots, slightly submerged if you will, versus keeping a big air space between the two.
Which was and is the reason I preached to do it that way.
As it turns out, you get more foliage which aids in plant production aka photosynthesis, which can only help to increase dry yield !!

Don't worry ! I'm not gonna do what you think I'm gonna do !
I just want to know who's coming with me ?
LMAO

The rez level sitting high or low will be a good test to run on clones.
One cooler the level is kept at the pots all through veg and bloom.
One cooler the level is kept below the net pots all through veg and bloom.
One cooler the level is kept at the pots all through veg, then dropped for air space during bloom.
But it HAS to done with clones from the same mom.
Feeding and everything else the exact same, EXCEPT the rez level.

Lunch n thermos plus a plethora of DANK !! lmao
Fuck, I'm all out of smoke too !!
Gave over half of C99 away to a friends Dad that suffers gruesome migraines, and he helps me when needed since he owns a construction business.
Won't be harvesting these until around the 4th of July !!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess I have to support the black market.
I haven't blazed in a week !
THAT'S why I'm going perpetual from now on.
TIRED of not having enough to last until next harvest.

Okay, I'm done moaning................thanks for the eyes and ears.

Perpetual is the only way and fully automated too bro :D

Woot woot! I'm strapping in for the ride and I'll do the same when my next cycle come around. The coolers do make for a great perpetual. If you were anywhere around me, I'd get smokey with you.

Just a simple update for my grow log and nothing more.
ALL plants are producing their 4th internode @ 11 days old, except the youngest DPD which is starting it's 3rd @ 5 days old.
PPM = 280
PH = 5.9
Temps = 69F and 66F, then I dropped fresh frozen bottles in each cooler right after pic was taken.
RH = 47%
