Hello everyone,

http://www.sandersonbonsai.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=73

I've been using bonsai pro 7-9-5 for my plants throughout their veg/ early flowering. they seem to like it just fine. I was wondering if this 7-9-5 formula is appropriate for the flowering stage. How will it effect my yeilds? should i be using something else? I've read that Nitrogen isn't as important during flowering, does this mean that it could be bad for flowering? or does it matter?

I'm in soil, about 60 days in 12/12 from seed.

Your plants will produce better yields during flowering/harvest if you feed them a flowering specific formula. These formulas generally have no nitrogen. Also 16-8 or 24 is more optimal for vegging stages 12- 12 is for flower.

Should be alright. It's formulated for slow growth of bonsai trees I guess, which would be why it has no urea in it. You probably won't get max yield but it should be of higher quality.

I realize this post is from 2011, but for future reference, I would like to point out that Bonsai Pro is actually the exact same formula as Dyna Gro Grow but in a different bottle! Dyna Gro makes it. Some use Dyna Gro Grow along with the Dyna Gro Bloom in flower and some use the Dyna Gro Foliage Pro from start to finish.

In soil you only need grow, foliage pro, or Bonsai Pro. Bloom would only be a booster you would use halfway through flower, but not necessary in soil.
