So, I finally got out of my cockroach infected dorms. Me and my girl found a little rent house, signed a 1 year lease, 295 a month! Great deal! Its well insulated, its in the shade, nice neighbors, stays cool inside, perfect for me and her. Carpet has a little bit of a musky smell, but its all good. Here is my new found problem. The past few nights, and even as I sit here, something has been scratching and clawing at my ceiling. It scuttles around too. I'm afraid its a squirell, because they are all over the place here, and I'm worried its going to scratch a hole in my ceiling, or start a big den up there. We have contacted the landlord and he said check for holes in the ceiling. I'm honestly pissed now because if there is a hole, its already too fkn late. Idk, it sounds creepy as hell, and i have seen WAY too many horror movies lol. any opinions on what i should do? Wait it out? Or let the critter chill in my attic? LOL...

Screw that little buster, It's probably just a mouse they can sound really loud when they are scratching on the drywall in the attic. Set up some mouse traps or poison and get rid of those little loud things before they start to reproduce and you have like a hundred scratching in your attic.

look for a hole outside where it is getting in, patch it up, prune any branches that a squirrel can climb onto your roof.

yeah man either poison his ass or tell the land lord to get on it or you will report his ass as a slum lord. in the state where im from its the law for landlords to fix shit like that. good luck.

it's a rather large bat! wings the size of tennis rackets!

most likely a mouse, as said, they sound LOUD, cat brought a few into my last house and they got away, under the floorboards. we just stuck a load of poison in a cupboard and they were soon gone haha

i say its squrrels not rats. rats stay low like my man said in his floor boards. rats go where the water is at Usually and the water is down. squrrels wont eat poison they are way to smart for that shit you will have to bomb them out, with some foggers or something.

or call a priest to perform and exorcisem.

If its a squirrel then its not too bad, my neighbor has problems with them and he just puts peanut butter in a trap and has caught about 6 this year. At my last house we had 7 raccoons living under the house and they were trying to get into the attic. They can be pretty mean and can mess some stuff up so hopefully its not raccoons. 1 of them beat the shit out of my cat pretty good and that was a few months ago, he's still messed up.

let the landlord take care of it , its his house technically shouldnt have to do anything like that the only thing you should be fixing is like a lightbulb
