Starbucks has been supporting Anti-Marijuana legistlation nationwide. Recently they have provided financial support for a bill that will shut down every single dispensary in Colorado.

PLEASE STAND UP FOR THE CAUSE AND BOYCOTT STARBUCKS!

A letter to the starbucks CEO can also be sent by visiting this website:

I'm mostly pissed that the alcohol industry at large can sway the public's future.. "Oh look psycho who broke into my house - here is a bigger knife to stab me with!"

I really have come to hate and distrust any large corporation. Face it, most large corporations especially the alcohol and pharmaceutical industries are pissed that Cannabis is a product that can be produced quite easily. The fact that if more people were enlightened about Cannabis and their views and our laws changed, many corporations would lose out big-time.

you must realize that the corporations arent what they appear to be....

Fuck coffee, drink tea 1/2 the caff. as coffee so you can chug it if need be if you like that buzz, but tea's a different buzz my friends, shit can get you high w/o smoking, just drinking tea, brewed w/ hot ass microwaved water and a tea bag, greeen>black tea 4 me, but cant go wrong. green's cooling and black is warming

That's the reason, coffee gives an addictive high in their 'comfy' and social enviroments. The more weed tolerance there is, the closer we are to having real coffeeshops and Starbucks direct competition.

I guess when you look at it Coffee, Wine and Weed all share some corporate similarities, just the winner hasn't yet got its foot in the door.

I wrote Starbucks an email, through the site at the beginning of this thread. I changed it from the form letter, asking them to deny it, or to clarify their position. They didn't answer me. But they've announced that it is up to local stores in a press release.
I love Denver, but don't live there. When I visit, I'm going to march in every Starbucks I see and ask their managers if they are one of the ones. That should get the message across.

Re-concentrate your efforts on SB-109 Senator Romer's bill that just passed the senate 34-1. Starbucks denies any involvement and I think we have sent them a clear message that is would be bad for business if they were to support anti-marijuana legislation.

Send Senator Romer an e-mail letting him know in a calm manner why you do not support SB-109 http://chrisromer.blogspot.com/2008/03/survey-up-and-running.html.
