After my first successful indoor hydro grow, i decided to give it another go. i ordered my seeds last friday so im expecting them sometime after the upcoming friday. i decided to go with a a strain from Highgrade Seeds called Brainwreck (Trainwreck x White widow). i went with this strain because i love the widow high, and the best weed ive ever had was trainwreck. Its a 50/50 indica/sativa.

SETUP:
26" x 54" x 72" (LxWxH) closet
600w Hortilux HPS w/ vented hood
Home made Ebb and Flo (tutorial will be given)
500 cfm inline exhaust fan (DIY carbon scrubber attached)
250 cfm inline intake fan
GH 3-part flora series nutrients
Kool Bloom (flower booster)
Superthrive (Vitamin B booster)
16" oscillating fan

Basically the only thing im waiting on is the seeds. Also feel free to post here if youd like. Whats the use of doing this without encouragement and constructive criticism?

I like your set up. Can't wait to see some pics after your seeds arrive and are germinated.

Hey sublime, i've got a closet grow going on running a 400W HPS but i've got a lil less space than you in mine.

Have got this hydro setup running in my cupboard, I have a vent and an oscilating fan which blows air around the closet and also out of the vent, do you reckon this would be enough ventilation or do you think I should do something 'more!'

(pics of grow(without vent, added that yesterday): https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/2671-grow-journal-first-lowryder-grow.html )

Peace :)

H20: for a 400w light in that small of a space youll definitely needs a dedicated exhaust fan. something like and inline inductor would do fine.

EDIT: i actually measured my closet and i had the wrong numbers posted. i just assumed it was the same as my other closet. but we all no whats happens when we assume... the real dimensions are 65" x 26" x 84"

and one more

Sublime can you give an apprx estimate of cash investment in your set-up?
Did you piecemeal it together or is some/all of it from a kit?

I know that "gold" carbon scrubber is not part of a kit. that thing rocks. hell yeah! good setup and pics. gl on your grow and tell us how the strain is doing (I would like to know).

i reckon your outtake fan should be thesame size as your intake fan as qouted in the indoor bible 2006 edition by jorge cervantes check it out

Most of the time when someone has a journal and they stop posting, one of three things happened. They ruined their crop, they went to jail, or they were full of shit.
