Branch on main stem broke,help??

I was looking at this big weighed down branch on my plant and i heard it snap alittle,i walked around the plant and there was a crack going down the stem about 1/2 inch i tied it together were it has no inside stem showing,will it be ok,It didn't break all the way off just split,will it repair itself if its tied back propely and will it still flower ok???

Damn that sucks, I'd try to support it and tie it back with something...if it doesn't work theres nothing you really could of done.

I'd support it with cheap bamboo canes, you can get them at most garden centers.
As for the fix, just tape it up, it could die, but it may heal itself and continue growing.

Well it was a healthy enough plant that it grew back together and is now fine,,,yes baby!!!!!
