In the room were my tent is I have a 15 amp breaker rating.
I'm running a spider farmer sf 2000 which pulls 1.7 amps
A 4 inch 59 watt exhaust fan
A half gallon cool mist humidifier
And lastly a lasko stand up fan

Do you guys think these kind of amps are safe to pull out of one 120v outlet with a 8 plug timed surge protector by bn link

@Beginnergrower01 you're allowed to use up to 80% of a household circuit. 15 amps times .8 = 12 amps for consumption and 3 amps left for safety. At least that's the way I understand it.
@bk78 is pulling 650 x 2 = 1300 watts off one circuit. If it's a 15 amp one at 120 volts that's 15 x 120 = 1800 watts total available in the circuit.
1800 x .8 = 1440 watts safely available. Looks like he's fine to me.
They're easy calculations to do, and they'll help you sleep at night. As far as I know (I'm in Canada) your house insurance is toast if you're growing UNLESS you buy a policy that stipulates that you can. I asked my agent but she said they're pretty expensive. I have a modified electrical system and I gave up my house insurance 'cause I'll never collect in a fire. You're right to be careful.
Watch running power bars/surge protectors. You're probably better off using up all your outlets first. They can fail.
