Wow, that far still. You mean you got nothing? I'd go mad I think. If only we could freely send it to each other. I don't think there'd ever be an empty bowl among us again.

So, I'd like to tell a quick story.

A while back my teenage daughter was on the home PC having a video chat with a male friend. He spotted a couple of my electric guitars in the background and asked her if it was a Fender? She replied that she didn't know but read Yamaha off the headstock. It was a strat copy beginner guitar that I had grabbed for $40 bucks. The other was a nice 5 string Samick bass that I picked up from the same guy for $75. Anyway, the kid started bashing my guitar and pumping the Fender that he has, yada, yada, yada...She later told me about it and I explained to her that he can spend all the money he wants on a guitar, he'll never get the results out of it that I can on this cheap Yamaha if he never get's himself past the 3 chords he knows now. This is how I feel about everything.
I meant to add this when you originally posted but have been busy re-working (re-arranging) the layout of U-420 so I'm not so cramped & bumping into things and knocking them over (my BASS, damn it).
As well as making room on my computer desk for the MPK61 keyboard at the end of the year.
Here's as link to another guy who doesn't feel the need to pay for the "best" when it's equal is SO much less expensive:
(*note the sheer number of Yamaha's & Epiphone's, mixed in with a few Fenders and some Ibanez'es):

http://www.billysheehan.com/gear.html

He's stated he picks his Yamaha's right off the rack, not hot-rodded & customized for him (except his signature line, of course). Yamaha's that any 4-chord wonder can pick up, and tear their finger tips off with as they learn how to move a crowd with their playing.
I'm preaching to the choir.
I know

Hey, what are you guys up to this Friday. It already feels like night to me.

You know me an Billy Sheehan Doob. When you say he shreds a Bass, he really feckin shreds a Bass. You see those grooves on the high end of that first guitar? Wonder how much DNA you can scrape out of those caverns? lol I'm with you bro. Learn the craft first, then look at the fancy tools later when you know what your doing.

Man, I think your really going to like those Deep Blues Doob. I'm finishing up the last of the three that I grew and it's just really starting to get it's cure on and I'm sad it's done. There's about 4 of the seeds I just planted that didn't come up so I'm going to plant 4 Deep Blues tonight. If I get a male or two I think I'll continue to run them while the girls show me their stuff. There's basically two pheonos that I've seen and only differing a bit in bud structure and finish. 1, 2 and 3 being small, medium large finished in just that order with about a week to 1 1/2 between each other. The smaller plants has a more berry clustered bud and the larger one not so much. Both were hard and dense buds mostly stacking up in a nice solid single cola. This time around I will not be supercropping like that last ones. So the bud is for the most part very berry smelling and that comes out even more so in the cure. Like a lot. The high is a nice sativa and indica blend with a nice spinny, back of the head high that last quite a while, with a bit of "punch in the face" at the beginning. It sure makes my stomach growl though. Even with a full stomach I get hungry after this.

Whodat. Glad you like the picks. There's a small window I'm waiting for when the colors get really brilliant and if you don't catch it, like I did last year, your beat, cause the next day or two it's all over. I'll get some more up as it happens. Well, gotta go eat and I'll be back later on.

Good news to hear about the Deep Blues :-)
I have a few of them that are wonderfully female!

In fact I only have one plant left to show it's gender and that is a l'il DOG that's playing catch-up with it's bigger sisters.
Going to be a frosty & green bountiful Harvest come November-ish!
And I'll be running the fans 24-hour a days to circulate in cool air from outside during "Night" to see if there are any Revlon Girls in the mix.
Might even zap them with some A/C just to hit that sweet temperature range for night time coolness.
My sealed growbox is able to keep the inside temperatures down to as low as 67f (20c) with the lights on during the real-world night-time.
So winter temperatures and a little A/C show get me into the range.
Looking forward to pics of yours & others Club 600 genes in action.
:-)

And there you go. And here you go. Deep Blue shots. These are the ones that have been and gone. They didn't last long and I miss them. More to come.

Thanks Don. They were nice for sure. I'll have to wait a bit and see when I can run some more. In the meantime...

There's been quite a bit going on so I'm gonna have to catch up here in a couple of steps/posts. I think I'll make a list.

I think we'll need some music but I don't know what I'm in the mood for. Hmmm? OK, I've got it. From Cardiff, Wales, ever since the early seventies to today, the very under appreciated by mainstream,......Lords and Ladies I bring you.....Budgie! I know! "Duchie, we've heard it already". Well, that's ok, no worries. We can hear it again. ;) I recommend headphones to take advantage of the great engineering put into these recordings.

So I harvested the larger Cheeseberry Haze about 5 days ago and weighed in trimmed, when I harvested, at 180g. Highlander, if you catch this post, I recall you saying on your thread that a good way to calculate what your dry weight should be is to multiply by .26. I'm wondering if this is accurate for all types of bud structure and density? I know the formula's not exact, I'm just curious. It seems pretty close to me but I never get to weighing it all again by the time it's dried and cured. There's always some going missing from the racks. :weed:

Yes, they're the same shot's as on the 600 but I needed to get them here. Kinda like a reverse Rip I guess. (Whodat and Co.)

Now. What got potted up to fabric pots and into flower?

2 C4/CB, 2 BSB/CB, 1 DB/JTR and 1 Heri/Extrema. They went into my recycled coir mix and I amended it with Rock Phosphate and Humik. The Rock Phosphate is a 0-3-0 for a slow release for later. The Humik I'll get some links up for in a bit but basically what it will do is capture and store your nutrients and trick the plant into believing that there is more nutrients available than there really is and supposedly then making it think that there's lot's to spare. At least that's the gist I got from the wholesale rep I spoke to. Again there's more to it and I'll get to that in another post.

After the transplant I watered my medium with water and molasses and then fed them with a 2/3 dose of BioFish and the same of Kelp Boost. The BioFish is a total organic feed based on whole fish and other micro nutrients and is a 3-1-2. The Kelp Boost is a 100% Atlantic seaweed extract and is thick tar like, and not from molasses. It is a 0-0-5. To each pot I added my Myco as well. Let me tell you, they didn't even flinch in their growing and they seem to be loving life in the new home.

A quick post about my new veg cabinet project. I picked up a used kitchen cabinet that's 4' long, 20" deep and 17" high. I painted the inside about 5 or 6 coats, using a whole quart on it. What I plan to do is mount some sort of pipe/tube legs to the underneath and hoist it up on my small bench like table and mount it on top. I'm trying to make up my mind where I'm going to put the holes for ventilation. The bench is going to be in a common area so it has to be stealthy. I was thinking of using the tubes as my intake and exhaust and have it tied in to the underneath of the table. Only problem is that I'd have to bring the tubed too far into the table top and away from the edge, minimizing my table top area.

For lighting I want to go with a high bay florescent fixture, T5, that I want to mount on top of the box after cutting out the hole for it. Problem I ran into is that the inside measurement of my cabinet is 46" and wont take a 4' fixture but I've found a 3" but I'm waiting on pricing. The think is that I can't get a 54 watt tube in a 3' and I have to take 39 watt bulbs which is still ok. Funny thing is that when I go to look at how much lumen I'm going to lose, I find that I'm not going to lose any. Can't figure that one out. Less wattage, same lumen, I'll take that.

IMG_8966.jpgIMG_9352.jpgIMG_9355.jpgIMG_9361.jpg

Score! 10000 BTU portable, used only a few weeks while central AC was being installed. Over $600 new (there's that number again) and I scooped it for $150. Boooooyah!

So that's the plan Stan. If anyone has any suggestions I'm listening. Also I'm looking for advice on color temps for these tubes as well as ideas for odor control. Even though they're small some can have a dank on pretty early. These BSB/CB's have a real spicey smell coming off them already so I'll need some charcoal or something.

Peace all!:leaf:
