breeding with females from feminized seed

Is it ok to fertilize females that were grown from feminized seeds.? Does this truely increase the number of hermies ? I've never had a problem with hermies when growing fem. seeds before, but I've never grown seeds from a feminized plant.

No body? Well I think it will be fine. I believe most hermie issues are do to improper care, not genetic issues.

Well the way feminized seeds are produced gives their offspring a higher chance of becoming a hermaphrodite. I'm not exactly sure if this applies to all of the feminized seeds offspring or just if you decide to make more feminized seeds from the feminized mother.

Guess you'll be the one to test this out. My guess is that it will be just a normal roll of the dice. I'd agree that most hermies are from stress and no so much genetics. =)

Hey 420, I breed a fenimized plant last year and got mostly female seeds out of her, but also got males and only one or two hermies. I guess the hermie trait depends as well in the strain coz some are more prone to it. Good luck with that ;)

you will get a higher % of hermies. that's why people who want straight hermi free will run the mother out once first to make sure she's "true running"(no 'nads).

Usually the breeder will collect pollen from the forced hermi plants and apply it to their true females. This helps to eliminate hermi seeds.
