Broke off a branch, seal or not

I just found an entire 3 foot branch snapped off (completely) from one of my plants. It is about 2 months till harvest... do I need to seal the trunk of the plant, and if so, what do I use? :wall:

It dosent really need to be sealed if youre growing in a clean room, but bugs can crawl in and infect your plant with disease, so its probably best to maybe put some tape or silly putty over it tell the stub heals over.

Yes seal it period, dont delay the fact that you took time to ask this is almost long enough to infect the plant. Seal it with tape from nursery or lowes but get it done.

Thanks for your assist, these are outdoor plants and we did go ahead and seal the trunk with elmers glue and gauze bandaging material. The local grow store recommended it, and it seems to be working fine. Hardened quick and is keeping insects and water out of the broken area. They said to remove it with a razor knife in a couple weeks and we should be fine! Smoke on...

Thanks! Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We went ahead and wrapped it with gauze and used good old elmer's glue to coat it with. Sealed it perfectly and after the scab formed on the trunk, we sliced the wrap off with a razor knife. We are growing outdoors and this will be our best grow ever (out of 3 outdoor grows). We expect to get at least 3 lbs per plant. They are 11 feet tall and about 8 feet around and BUDDING! LIKE CRAZY! Thanks again for your assistance... Smoke on!
