Hey there, I'm pretty new to this and just signed up today to the forum. I've been growing on and off for like 6 years now but haven't been able to get that really good fire flame after my second grow. Maybe it was soil cuz it was in-ground and the plants grew to be like 13ft tall, plus, my dad was the onw who planted the seeds and I'm pretty sure he has the green thumb. Anyways, I broke a a branch near the top of one of my plants. I'm pretty sure they've been flowering for close to 6 weeks, the buds are a decent size but i can still see a lot of white pistils so I think they're not ready yet. So I broke this branch that's literally right underneath the main top cola and I was late for work so I just decided to cut it off. Was this a mistake?? Should I have left it or tried to fix? Since I cut off the branch will the plant put more energy into making the cola bigger?? I was thinking that it would of been better to cut it off because the plant wouldn't waste more energy trying to heal. OR is it the opposite and now the plant is gonna waste more energy cuz she's in shock? Also since I cut it off will the plant put more energy into making the buds at the top bigger or will the flowering growth be slowed down now? I know this is a long post but I want to be as detailed as possible. Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks for taking the time to read this monster of a paragraph lol. One other thing, the plant that I broke the branch off has a lot of yellow leaves which is why this happened in the first place, what can i do to fix that? Does anyone know what kind of nutrient deficiency that is? There's also these little white things that fly off whenever i shake the plant. Are those things sucking out my plants nutrients?? I know it's a lot of questions but hopefully ya'll have the answers. Sorry I only have some pics of when the plants were like their 2nd week into flowering. But, I will post some more pics when I get home from work.
Cheers
