Normally the temperature of pasteurization (and even at much higher temperatures like in a pressure cooker) is below that which would vaporize metal compounds like iron, calcium, etc. into the air, especially with moisture present. You can get that into the air from welding things like steel though. But that's ridiculously way hotter than sterilization temperatures.

Well in my country the black helicopters would be landing if molasses for sale was found to contain a bunch of bacteria. It's gotta be shelf stable here and pass regulatory standards set out of the government agencies responsible for oversight.

Guys, I just think it's more environmentally responsible to feed inedible organic material to your soil rather than human packaged food shipped from halfway around the world as a source of carbon. Food belongs in the fridge to feed people. (Not to mention the "sciencey" stuff I talked about previously.)

Molasses is a byproduct of sugar production and is considered a feed supplement for livestock and soil amendment.

I use piloncillo instead of molasses, although it's almost the same thing. I bet you can use brown sugar, it would be better to use muscovado sugar since I believe it is less refined (or not refined at all) than brown sugar.

Molasses also have the added benefit of containing beneficial bacteria, it's loaded with macro and micro nutrients, vitamins, it's an insect repellent, just do it :bigjoint:
Not to mention that, when used as a foliar spray, it adds a nice sweet flavour and smell profile. For years i got weed of this dudes and his bud was always sweet and smelt so good. He switched to a different bloom booster as a foliar application a few times and I noticed straight away.

Read an article about feeding plants molasses at flowering stage. unfortunately I don’t have access to black molasses’s, But some recommended brown sugar works as well. What’s you opinion guys.
It’s the humic acid in the molasses and not the sugar we’re after. To feed the bennies.
