i was wondering how brown sugar would help in a soil grow. it has molasses in it to give it the color and taste. it is acidic and the sugars would deffinately help those micro organisms grow healthy. i might try a spoonful or two in a pot to see it makes any difference. anyone have any thoughts on using brown sugar?

Unsulphired Blackstrap mollasses is used because of a few different assets of it.

1. In your soil live many many many microbacteria, at first it might sound bad but its actually extremely good, these little guys through their digestion process take in things that the plant cannot uptake well or sometimes not at all and turns them into easily absorbable for the plant.
2. It's used during the flush because its got some nutrients in it and also helps your bacteria unlock any remaining ones

how whould brown sugar bring ants anyless than molasses.
all those little microbes are making look into doing a few soil grows. i am and have been amazed by the whole growing in water and the science of cloning and all those things that make growing so interesting. so i am getting a few seedlings into dirt. cant wait to try some of things i have been reading about
i also keep reef tanks and all the different forms of microbes that we keep in our small aquarium amaze me so i continue to find more things growing on my rocks and watch things i didnt even know i had grow big from having the conditions required for them to thrive. here i come soil....how hard can it be.....lol.....
