Bruce Banner Single plant grow

So it's interesting to me how these two plants are such different colors. The lighter one is a cutting of the top of the darker one so they are essentially the same plant. They get exactly the same feed except I fed the dark one ONE TIME with maxigrow right after it rooted, like 1/4 tsp per gallon. It got green and grew fast but I'm more comfortable just feeding maxibloom all the way through. It's just odd that it caused a permanent color change which did not transfer to the next generation.

Topped the veg plants yesterday to clone. Repotting two today to put into flower. Keeping the other two in smallish pots to manage their size.

I think 4 plants is probably right for the 4x4. Had to finally mount the carbon filter to have room to hang another light. Now a total of 540 watts with a nice spread20220122_121922.jpg20220122_121853.jpg

I concur, pertaining to the depth of colour produced by the older plant and them being from the same pheno

Must say tho' the darker features are more appealing to my eye

Enjoying your progress...may it long continue!

Weather is really something this week. Currently minus 14F outside. My indoor RH wants to be in the low 20s and I can't do much about it. But I put an interval timer on my exhaust fan so now it only comes on 2 minutes and off 20. This is letting a little heat build up inside the tent, getting my Temps in there to around 80. So my Temps and RH are yoyoing on a 22 minute cycle. Wondering if I am courting problems with this strategy but climate control is a challenge right now. Don't really want to add more technology to plug in and maintain!

other than that, plants in bloom are really taking off.. Now day 37 on the oldest one.

Mother's are looking good but I don't need to deal with rooting cuttings for a month or so. Perpetual is at hand!20220126_092930.jpg20220126_092847.jpg20220126_093241.jpg

Day 40:

Day 15:

I forgot to say that this plant is an experiment in 'faux no till'. Not living soil or anything organic but when I harvested my first plant in this thread I let the pot dry out and then cut out the stem and central root mass. Plugged in another plant, vegged for a few days and put into flower. So it seems possible to reuse promix without removing all the old roots or even removing it from the pot. I would love not needing to buy bales of promix all the time or tediously reprocessing it between grows.

Plants really seem to like the tent. It's certainly satisfying my need for clean.

Repotted the two moms into their final homes. Still a little too soon to root cuttings but I gave them a haircut. When they fill out again I'll take some cuttings. Turned the light down to 50% as some tops were showing a little stress.

Day 42 for the big guy. Hard to see how to fit more than 4 plants in here.

The tent has really filled up. Had to prune a number of tiny lower branches on the ones that are 3 weeks into flower. I topped them twice to get cuttings and it stimulated more branch growth. My goal now is to finish all of these while developing 4 perfectly shaped plants. Uniformity and 4 to 6 stems per plant would be ideal.

Day 50. So much bud under those leaves. I've never really liked defoliating, this is pretty much au natural. This plant didn't stretch as much as its mother.

Fan leaves near the top are tacoing a little. Also a little too green. Been feeding 1 tsp maxibloom every watering. I think higher Temps in the tent are promoting greater nutrient uptake. Cutting that feed rate in half for the next couple weeks and raising the lights a few inches. Never had that leaf issue growing in an open room.

Took 8 inches off the tops of the mothers. They were growing up into those sweet cheap lights again. Firing up the aerocloner with the cuttings.
