Man im sorry about your plant issues:(.Im no expert,2rs growing and ive read every grow book and Bible there is......lol....we have the sames grow style?5g lowes buckets, organic soil, tap water(I don't ph,maybe you shouldn't either)....just sayin....I know heat might be 80% of your issue....just wondering how much perlite do you mix in? I personally use 1/3 perlite to 2/3 soil...to help buffer any soil issues I might have.......I use jobes organic tomato food,if needed. If you have any questions...im here to offer the best advice I can(Where it's needed):lol:GL.peace

I ph the tap water because it come out at around 7. I add about 1/3 perlite , I like to see a good mixture of the white spects thru out the soil. I moved to the Home Depot buckets after they wanted $7 for a a #5 pot. Buckets go for $2.68. Thanks for the help. I will check what you got going. Peace!

Cool man check out my only half-assed journal...lol....ive posted a more recent grow in 12/12 from seed thread.I use a bedroom closet 2x5x5.5ft tall.As far as using 5g buckets I thought about drilling holes in the buckets side and put a pillow case inside then put in my soil in,kinda air pottish:).I use the self-watering,water wicking 5g....look it up on youtube(google)....ive started using an airstone in the bottom where the water is...its helped,my past few plants have had heavier yields.............bbq brisket is calling my name.l8r.

Thanks, I agree that it's #1. I will continue to trim the leaves to remove the brown parts. And will make an adjustment to the lighting, fans and humidity and just keep monitoring. I don't think it's nutes related, I would think that if it was it, the issue would appear thru out the rest of the plant. I love it when the team comes to the rescue. Thanks for PMing this for me.

Combination of 1 and 2. For sure...

Firstly, STOP giving that plant, and any others you have, Superthrive, its snake oil.

Second, Tiger Bloom is hot shit, ALL of the FF line up is, and when mixed in conjunction with the grow big at the beginning of the flip it has a tendency to build up salt deposits in your soil and burn the fuck out of your girls. There are MANY eagle clawed leafs which is a clear indication that shes fried as Sanders... Nute abuse always starts at the top of the plant ie. Your main cola and new growth, where as deficiencies will start to show themselves at the bottom...

Thirdly, There are also clear signs of heat stress (Up turned and taco looking alligator teeth sides to your fan leafs in some places)...God does that even make sense??;) let me know if not... What your plant is trying to do is reduce surface area exposed to your light source to reduce the rate of transpiration to maintain health. This will also magnify the ill effects of overfeeding.

I would flush the crap out of that bucket with water, I mean run 20 gallons of tap through that bitch! Dont worry bout pH or chlorine. Since your only 26 days in I would imagine it would be okay to spray the affected areas with H2o as well to aid in some much needed relief of stress, but I dont know your room conditions (RH) and Bubbas can be dense enough to PM quick if not monitored, so use discretion. I dont think shes beyond reprieve but if shes in a room with others I would keep a close eye on her for the rest of the grow in case she starts spitting nanners towards the end. Good luck, I hope she crosses the finish line for you.~S0uP

Thanks for the input Oo Soup. I only use Superthrive when I repot, no other time. I only nute once a week with FF Bloom products and I adjust the ph back to 6.5 before apply to my plants. I have made adjustments to the heat, airflow and soil. I think I'm going to monitor them a bit, before I made any other changes. This way I can see what works. If I throw everything at them at once, it will be hard to figure out what works to use in the future. I have had many great suggestions and I appreciate them all, except for the one that pop up every now and then telling I should rip them up and start over. If she doesn't recover in a bit, I will try your super flush suggestion. Here's some of my other FF Nutes grown and superthrive transplanted girls, I'm happy with the results so far. Thanks again. Peace!

Do you see how some of your leaf edges are curled up and ridgid like teeth in some places?, and in others have the claw like effect beginning to form ?(Bottom left) Also, notice the unusual leaf structure on new growth at the main budsite?

Heat stress, Over fertilization, Superthrive. Respectively. I bet shes 5-8 days after transplant there. ~S0uP

Also I wasnt referring to pH but rather ppm and deposit build up in your medium. Im not trying to come off hot headed, just trying to help.

Hey Oo Soup, Those pictures are two days after the transplant. When I fert, I only use 1/3 of what's recommended and only once a week. I alternate between fert, ph water, fert wwith drying out between each.
below is the the plant at 32 days, things looked pretty good.
https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/651754-bubba-kush-26-days-since-3.html

The problem started during the following week.
https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/651754-bubba-kush-26-days-since-4.html

The transplant and flushing took place almost a week later as one of the steps to correct any medium problem.

The picture you noticed and included in the quote are of the bubba this morning. I did the transplant with superthrive this past Saturday night, not a full two days ago.

I appreciate your help. I've had quite a few suggestions and I can't do them all at once. I'm trying to see if what I have done corrects it in a week - looking for new growth and the leaves to straighten out, if I don't see the results I'm looking for, then I will try your suggestion of super flushing. The transplant and flushing was also to remove the salt build up, Oh yeah I have her isolated from the other plants, Thanks again for your help. Hope I can reach out to you for help in the future. Do you have anything growing , I would like to check it out if you do.

Sorry I been absent for a bit man, but go to your local grocery store, and ask the bakery dept. for some of the buckets that their frosting comes in.
They give them free, in 3 and 5 gallon sizes.
Clean even!

Good note for the newbs!
I know some might think ......a used paint bucket!..but if its LATEX paint it will easily wash out with water or peel off if its dry:)

Ok Just completed my first plant - Bubba Kush. Learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes - well not that many. I'm newbie! At least I now know how how to deal with the other Bubba Kushes that I have in wait. I learned that I can't box a bubba. But I'm happy with the outcome using CFL bulbs. But now it times to move on. Vegging with T5s 54 watt 6400K gro bulbs 12 of them. And will be using HPS 600 for bloom.
