Bubba Kush Question

Hello

I have 3 Bubba kush plants that are almost 9 weeks in flower and 11 weeks since switching to 12/12.The buds are a nice-ish size but they are still growing white hairs all the time, on greenhouse co's site, it says they are a 9 week strain. Im gonna be harvesting 1 in about 9 days anyway as the trichs are nearly all cloudy with a few amber and very few clear. The other 2 will be longer as they are less developed.

So is it normal for this strain to have a lot of white hairs near the end? I use a 600w dual hps.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I usually run bubba 9-10 weeks. for me at least most if not all of the hairs have changed color but you want to use the trics as an indicator not the hairs.

The white hairs, pistils, show up in the second or third week of flowering and are a good gauge of plant maturity.
The tris start to turn milky about the same time you start to see brown pistils. With your tri report I would be
getting ready to harvest soon.

some pistils will change after harvest, but you always judge by the trichomes when its time to harvest not the pistil color
