Bubble Hash or Dry Ice Hash?

I have a machine and bags for it but I prefer the old ice and bucket method, and stir with a drill. Just ran about 8 ounces of trim last night, and here the results.

I do have a question though. I want to press some of this into rosin....I have a press and all the equipment. I press bud often, but I have never pressed fresh hash. How dry does it need to be before I can press it?

I have a heat press that I am still learning to use. Press bubble hash with like a 35 micron bag or some don’t use a bag. Comes out a sticky mess lol

35 u bag inside a 90u bag. Less chance of blowout

Perfect, thanks for the reply....I have both of those micron bags and it is good and dry now. I wouldn't have thought to double bag it! Maybe later today I will make a batch...as reward for being in trim jail.

The stuff I made was mostly from Chernobyl, and it was super sticky trim. It has been great smoking!

I actually got my washer for free. They had advertised it as having a spin cycle option, which we don't need. I "complained" and they gave me a full refund.

Bottle tech works better I find
Don't leave lots of material on top cut it off with sharp scissors

Had to add 8 more grams of kief to this one so it ended up almost 50g when just right.

You got a basic no frills method that looks effective! I'm looking for a similar no frills method to make the kief as well
Just need something to make my smokes a little stronger! without the need for Xtra equipment and cost!

i destroyed those bags when i used a mixer to agitate the trim the smallest bag was full of powdered leaf that dried and became one with the bag

The keif is easy enough with a cheap dry sift box. Then you can just add some to a joint or bowl of bud. Making good oil is more complicated and draws you into dangerous and costly territory. Doesn't have to be costly if you just get a blast tube and evap off the butane but it's still dangerous.

I just call it honey hash because I make it using honey oil to bind the keif. About 5g of keif to 1g of oil. Mix it up in a pie plate on top of a simmering pot of water and it actually all binds together like clay so the plate is clean when you're done. Pics on the last page.

Really great if you like hot knifing hash. Just roll up a bunch of little balls and keep going with your buddies until the first one keels over after a big lung full.

I prefer a big glass bottle with the bottom cut off nicely but a 2L pop bottle works just fine as long as the knives don't touch the plastic. Nasty shit.

I don't have the lungs for that any more tho.

what do you do with the left over flower? is it still good for tea or??? get a couple of shakes if I store in the freezer? I really only need the hash oil as a binder for making Vietnam style thai sticks........bamboo, budz, hash oil and fan leaves. That's why I like that honey hash idea..straight from the earth bushman shit!! I'll definitely post what I came out with..ha!ha!
