BUBBLE HASH???

I am old school Zig Zag type. Bad year and I have "a bunch" of popcorn going in hefty bags and to the curb. Any true experts have a crash course and materials list. I can actually keep processed beyond my cured limits. Big bonus if worth my time. Thank you sincerely if you have a solution for me. Peace.

I did it once.. if that counts.

I use these bags.
I paid $36 so idk if you want these, something similar is what you will need. Some ppl don't use all the bags.
Did mine by hand, no machine. Wooden spoon did just fine.
5 Gal bucket
Bags go in the bucket, in order. 25, 45,73,90,120,160 & 220 are the only ones I used. (220 is the work bag/Instructions actually come in the pack of bubble bags too.
In the 220 Micron bag:
bout a pound of ice chopped real good.. then some Frozen plant material.. them more ice.. I did 3 layers of ice with greens in between.
(Trim/larf/bud goes in but no sticks so the bags don't get holes poked in them.)

This bag will be the last one in the bucket/ layered with all bags.
then you add ice cold water.. colder the better. Agitate the ice and plant material for like 10 mins.. give it a break.. should be bubbling by then.. I let it sit so the trics can fall down.

When starting back up if the ice has melted a lot I add more.. then give it another 5-7 mins or stirring in a circle causing a currant that I can go against to cause chaos in the water.. Just trying to work them trics off the plant.

Then you lift out your work bag and squeeze it so it drains. Then one by one pull your bags up and you can spray the screen and walls with water to get all the hash to collect in the center with a frozen spoon. I keep mine in a tall cup of ice water next to my work area.

Try not to get the ice that is in the shape of a cylinder... Some guy told me that the bud and material will get stuck inside the ice....

..Yea.. I'm some guy :wall:

No disrespect. Surprised by the info from you. Thanks. I'm tossing pounds. Sooty mold. I'm ubder the impression my peroxide bath and rinsing will make it safe after micron straining. Tis the real issue. I can toss pounds. Rather not. LOL. Peace man.

LOL dude. I was handed a stacked deck this year. Legality changed the rules. Never grew fungus before this year. Never again. Not my tidy clean lay out. Trying to get a bit more out of it. I have some sweet clean colas still going close to a pound wet easy. And that's an outdoor gamble. Indoor monster if I can reveg. 001.jpg

Perfect weather today if you're in CO! Did a wash last week and got scared for a sec the hash water turned straight up purple (alien banana candy)!

2 runs, 3 washes each averaged about 10% return on both. 220m on top, 190m next, 120m, 45m, & 25m bottom bag. Ran 10 minutes each 1st wash, 7 minutes 2nd wash, and 5 on the last. Been using those Amazon washing machines, been over 10yrs since washing w/ a paddle.

Alien Rock Candy came out chunky vs Alien Banana Candy came out kiefy. Terps like crazy on the Banana & just good clean chalky on the ARC.

Ordered a 5 gallon machine today. I'm beat from close trimming all this popcorn I normally mash though stainless screen for hours. Any advice on machine use? ANYONE? I grow. Never mechanically nothing for concentrates. Thank you to all who have helped. oping for more insight. Can't be as easy as it appears.

My drill will break your wrists or empty the bucket.LMAO. Been saving for years for when it started getting hard due to health. Can't take it with me. I'm gonna get lazy. Another story.

I have a -10F industrial strength mini chest freezer. Plan to add dry ice to the ice in washer. And I'll do it below freezing outdoors. Coldest I can provide.

Heck yeah have fun bro! Timer is set on the dial super easy. Just get the water as cold as possible..give a little layer of ice then place your material on top, a little more ice then let it sit maybe 20 minutes before you run it. If you wanna get a little fancy with your water & ice get some distilled water from the supermarket so there's no metals or chlorine, and boil your own ice water vs freezer ready. Just a few extra steps will give you that much better quality.

You might as well just make dry ice hash then. It's really easy. I've never heard of anyone adding dry ice in the washers but I imagine it would just produce a bunch of gas and maybe blow the lid off if it's sealed.

That is the best place/time to do it. The colder the better. I am going to save trim over the next year or 2 to see what I can make of it. Small grows so it will take a while.

Thank you. I have watched hours of pathetic videos trying to teach while in days of trim jail. Have the concept. And have easy access to dry ice and soon to be below freezing temps. Give winter a brownie point. All are preaching cold. None actually apply it. Just me tweeking, myself and things. Gratitude.
