Hi folks,

Can you tell me how i can easily drainage and make ph measuremönt&adjustment in a bubbleponic system ?

How do you measure ur ph ? Because bucket is fully sealed with mylar to prevent light leaks i cannot open top plate. How do you do it ?

If its sealed how do you get the water in? :S I think you need to work on your setup a bit more, i wouldent attach the lid of the bucket or cooler to the rest of the setup, just have it simply sitting on top. I used plastic spray paint and painted my buckets black which worked well, but a 2nd white coat is recommended for heat absobrtion issues. I run 4 buckets, when i want to clean or drain i just disconnect the 2 air lines running into the bucket and lift the whole thing out of my garden, with the air stones etc still inside. nice and simple. Obviously for a pH check i just lift the lid of the bucket and stick the meter in =] hopefully you can find a setup that works for you!

when I run my bucket system I put a water level tube on the bucket, you can see how much is in the bucket and if you want to drain it you just turn the tube down and let it drain, you will need some 1/2 tubeing and some rubber gromets and 1/2 barbed fittings, drill the hole for the gromet insert the barbed fitting (90 degree)and thats it, you will find that keeping your buckets off the floor will make things easyer,I use milk crates for mine, hope this helps

I like the milk crates idea! i was recently looking for soemthing to raise my buckets with but couldent find anything secure enough and didnt cost a butt load. Thanks!
