Bubbler cloner- ph of water matter or no?

I've heard multiple answers while searching for the topic and unable to come to a conclusion.

I am having trouble getting roots to come out so I am attempting to a do a bit more research on what the problem may be.

Well it's a good idea to PH the cloner for better results and preventing the clone from going into PH shock once put into a system.
But you can root in anything between 5 to 8 PH, just takes longer
