Bubbler Placement

I am building an RDWC with a large reservoir and smaller res with 4 plants and have 2x 4" air discs. What would be most beneficial, both air stones in the big res, both in the small or 1 in each?

(I know there is an argument for no bubblers and using waterfalls but for now I am going to run them)

Since it's a small recirculating DWC system, I don't think bubbler placement will matter too much.

I think the more important factor would be water temperature since that determines how much dissolved oxygen the system can hold. If I remember correctly, 68 degrees is optimal.

Good Luck!

If you design the flow back into your rez up high above the water line, you will replenish the O2 without needing air pumps/stones
I have a 2"bulkhead for return line that dumps into the top of an overflow box where my return pump will pick it up through a 1" line in the bottom and run through my chiller and back to the res.
Is that enough?

Well I will be running 150-200 gal total...may be overkill but I designed it with the 40gal and 275gal res that I have

I am running through my chiller on the feed and return lines so I should be able to dial in temp.
Thank you!
