I mean it doesn't effect me either way, lol. I'm not upset at all, I like talking about anything involving weed and this is just another thing.

He got 8oz. off one plant under 6 or 8 cfls in soil.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

... and this statement is OK with you? It wouldn't surprise me to hear nat' actually claim this to be true, but i know he used a dual spec'.

I agree with you nat, there probably is 8oz on that plant... WET. But with that thick stem, I bet that takes up more than half of it.

I looked through the book at VV's house... looks pretty cut and dry. All the pics and explanations are there.
This statement is aimed at me? What does this mean?

So now, the ante has been raised. Now 8oz per plant is achievable after 12 weeks from seed, in soil... AND using only 6 or 8 cfls.

Who wrote the book? Whoever said that is a complete idiot, and i don't care who it is.

hey nat, been following your thread from day one. awesome result mate. since i have my first sativa this has had special place helping me to thicken my little girl as much as possible. TO SKunky, WTF??? outright hatered like that is not doing anygood, even in a far off land if nat wanted to puff his chest and exagerate his claims why the fuck would he???? not like he's gonna earn points with anyone. i've seen dudes on this site get 4-5 oz off of little shit grows on there second attempt. my girl (sativa) will have two oz colas and i veged for 4 weeks under hps/ topped only once. Skunky you have helped me in the past and i appreciate that help but dude, look outside the square

If you hadn't have topped you would have had one 2oz cola, or maybe a little less due to lumen capabilities. Topping your plant makes it shorter and wider, which can lead to slightly larger yields as more of the bud has access to the light. Although, it's hard if you want to grow more than two plants under one light. So you've HEARD of people that have had 4-5oz per plant off shitty grows have you? They're full of shit too.

If you guys want to join nat' in his fantasy world that's up to you... but i will argue with good sense until the cows come home.

this is true, in my sog grow i've got a few 1 cola and a few plant that i leave a branch so 2 branch. For my 2 branch plants the cola is smaller as if its the same size and weight as the 1 cola plant if the 2 cola is combine.

Skunk it must suck to wake up and just hate all day. Relax man :blsmoke:
Where is the hate? I don't hate all day, and i'm not hating now. What I'm doing is not allowing bullshit to stand as fact. I cannot do that, it is against my personal ethos.

Oh I get it, hate for bullshit. yes I do have a hate for that... you are correct.

I will say this for the final time.
I never said i actually had 8 oz.
I said that if i had not seeded 2 entire stems and cut one of early i would have hoped for about 8 oz.
I have said this 5 times now in my own thread and another thread why is it that you choose to twist what i say and ignore the actual facts?

Seeds take their toll on any plant.
I also have several seeds on the lower buds.
I realise that you are fairly new to growing skunky and that you are stuck in your tried and tested ways but you really dont know as much as you think you do.

When i first saw your bud pics you assumed that my instant comments about your buds being light and fluffy were because i was a cunt.
You were wrong i said that because i have seen so many light and fluffy buds that its unreal.

What can you expect when you keep your plants so wet?
Resin weighs more than water.
Dry plants make more resin, and most hydro systems keep the plants fairly wet and fairly often.

Hydro is great for commercial yields.
Hydro sucks for producing the finest most resinous and compact bud.
Unless your an expert at hydro, which you are not, your buds will always be lightweight and fluffy.

Its a shame that you are so arrogant and unwilling to listen as i am not a lier.
If you need any tips or advice skunky just let me know and i will be glad to help you out:mrgreen:

You have no clue what you're talking about. I do not keep my plants wet. I saturate then allow to dry thoroughly. I grow in coco coir and perlite. This is just like soil only better. It retains more water while at the same time retaining more oxygen, this is without the added perlite.

I didn't assume you were a cunt, I just knew that you didn't have a clue what you were talking about. The strain i was/am growing is Chronic x White Russian. Both, fluffy big budders. Genetics. I also grow indicas the same way, and guess what? Through genetics, the indicas are very dense, and weigh much more than they look. The chronic looks more than it weighs... genetics.

I already know all the tricks to increase resin production, and use them the way i think best, and most logical.

Whether you seeded your plant or not, there is no way you can get 8oz off one seed plant in 12 weeks. I don't care what you believe you may get, but 8oz off one seed plant in 12 weeks is impossible. You also only have a 400w for flower... and more than one (topped) plant sharing it. No way you'd get 8oz EVER in soil, and in 12 weeks. I don't care if you had 10,000w and a co2 set-up. In soil, you wouldn't stand a chance.

There are good aero growers out there that max out on 5oz... you only grow in soil. It has limits.

Werent you bashng the whole darkness before harvest idea?

Putting your plants in to total darkness is good because it actually helps to flush the plant somehow. Jorge wrote something on it and I cant find where I read it.

He says that if you are growing outdoors to harvest in the eeeaarly morning before the sun comes up for the same reason.

I have to admit that the bud has shriveled up more than i thought it was going to and its looking like it will be nearer to 15 grams fully dried without the stalk:blsmoke:

Ok anyway on the next grow i have decided to concentrate on the ppp x blueberry now that i have some new hybrid seeds from this strain that i pollinated with the possible triploid males pollen i am hoping that they will yield a bit more yet retain the huge thc crystal production.

Here is a couple of pics of a ppp x blueberry after 4 weeks and 4 days of 12/12 from seed grown on the very outside of my lit area so its a bit stretched but it will still give me a good smoke.

Im going to take this new seed and grow a good single fimmed plant from them and a couple of others on the outside of the grow spaces main lit area to see if i can make it yield and give me a lot of crystals still.

This stuff to be honest is the best thc producer that i have ever grown but it needs to be made into a higher yielding plant all though sog green would be ok,i expect.
Has now been under good light for one day since i removed the indica.
The pics are of the original p.p.p.(female) x blueberry(male) and not the new crossbreed.:blsmoke:

The best resin producing plant i had was Master Kush... reminds me a little of yours, as for a 2 week flowering seed plant, the MK was covered in trich's. Most strains, you don't really see good visible trich's till around week 4 of flower, but the MK was covered by week two.

A lot of it is down to genetics. If a plant is genetically inclined to grow large fluffy buds there isn't much you can do about it. Likewise if it is inclined to produce lots of trich's.

I keep my plants dry too. A combination of two things creates POTENT trich's (remember there is a lot more to cannabis than THC) genetics and environment. The most potent plants come from dryer countries that have long, sun penetrating days. the trich's are a protection against the sun and marauding insects, etc. but these are strains genetically programmed to handle the environment. So longer, hotter days help create more POTENT trich's. this is a reason I flower for 12h 45mins per day. the POTENCY of the trich's is increased all the way through the flowering stage.

High resin production is not necessarily an indicator of plant potency. It may be genetically programmed to make a lot of trich's... but if the conditions are not right half of those trich's could have little to no potency whatsoever.

So as the plant nears the end of its cycle, it's THC naturally starts changing into cbd, cbn etc. Why would you want the plant, that has been producing lots of POTENT trich's all the way through flower to suddenly stop doing so, and produce a load of sticky nothing?

Giving the plant 24 hours light towards the end, and keeping it bone dry will also send the plant into overdrive on resin production. What else can it do to defend itself against such a confusing onslaught? Yes, a bit of the thc will change into so-called lesser cannabinoids, but this is what we want. As it's the right mixture of cannabinoids that takes us where we want to go. By using good judgement, you can harvest at the peak moment.

I'm aware of Jorge Cervantes... but i watched a grow vid' of his and he claimed that you need a gallon of container per month of veg. He was wrong. He also claimed that 18/6 was the best way to veg'... he now admits, he was wrong.
