Bud rot advice

Hello everyone. So I checked on my room this evening and spotted a bud that looked burnt. On closer inspection I realised it was mushy in one spot. Immediately removed it which made me sad as it was one of my fattest colas, cut it open and sure enough it was soaking inside. Other buds seem to be doing OK, I've got a humidifier in there which hovers around 50% and plenty air movement from fans etc... Question for you guys is do I cut my loses and harvest early (they still have 2 weeks to go) or do I keep a close eye on them and prey that it was just that one bud?... Any advice appreciated, pics attached. Did you mean dehumidifier? Anyway, during flowering I check plant buds out constantly, just looking for dark spots on buds. I'll catch early enough to remove bad spot off bud and save entire bud.......kill it before it spreads. Your grow looks pretty dense, hard for good airflow and must be hard to give plants good inspection. Nice crop....I'd go through them one by one and eliminate any rot. Ya may be able to get some great weed.

That's the only bad one I've found so touch wood I've caught it early. Would you say ride out the last few weeks but keep a close eye on them then?

Abso-fucking-lutely ! Many times I have had only one, sometimes 2 or 3 with some rot and I usually save most of the bud). That rot is a sneaky little f-er. I really have to keep my eyes peeled, especially ones grown outside that are subjected to higher temps and humidty. Once that rot appears it moves quick.....catch it early ! I don't dense pack plants. I have them in long single rows (pots on " lazy Susan") not touching. By spinning them around and with lots of room inspection and trimming facilitated.

I see a couple more twisted, dying fan leaves, your grow but i would chop and do a peroxide wash, 10 to 1 water and peroxide then a water rinse.

I'll definitely be blitzing the room clean once I drop these as I've also had to battle a thrips infestation. This grow has been tough!

The thrips bring the mold spores into the room and infect the plants by tracking the spores on their feet. That's how I got powdery mildew. Clean the room really well, and try to take a break before more plants go in the tent, let it dry out. Also, clean the dehumidifier and filter and keep the RH below 50% in flower.

Good reply and that dehumidifier cleaning so important. The condensate bucket becomes contaminated pretty quick. You can feel the " slime" forming in bottom , which contains some wonderful pairings of bacteria and mold. I clean condensate bucket once a week with a Clorox 50/50 water solution. The pic I took is a combination of mold and bacteria fromreceived_427691172155323.jpeg a dirty catch bucket.This is common for all standard dehumidifiers.
