Bud rot? Plant still safe to keep?

I noticed yesterday one part of my white widow in the middle had some bud rot. I decided to harvest the plant immediately to avoid spreading considering the forecast will be wet and cold for the next week.

I found a couple other small buds near the bottom as I chopped the plant. What seems odd is the main big colas are seemingly ok. Could this be something other then bud rot? Like mildew/mold or something attacking from the outside?

I trimmed I inspected everything and cut out a couple suspect buds, although they could have been fine. the one bigger bud affected was at the tip of it. Overall 95% of the plant seems ok.
This was my first outdoor grow and never had bud rot before. I see some posts saying the whole plant is suspect and I should pitch it. If I don’t see any rot in the other buds are they safe to smoke? Or could there be mold hidden in the stems?

I “washed” the branches in baking soda and h2o2 and rinsed before trimming. 1 cup of each in 5 gallon buckets. I have them hanging in my garage 64f and 55%rh.

Here’s the bud I found yesterday. I removed it before harvest harvesting.
