Bud rot?

I have a plant that I'm just about to harvest, started actually.. but a lot of the leaves started dying the past day or so.
RH has been under 50, usually low 30's.

Here's one stem, you can see the leaves browning, dry and crispy.

nothing mushy on the stems or buds.. maybe a little discoloration/striations up the stems

Is it more likely the plant is at the end and the leaves are dying?
I honestly don't see obvious signs of bud rot, just the dying leaves.

is it just the preflower sites that are mouldy? i noticed a lot of them on my plants last year, some of the bud was fine, but all preflower sites were mouldy. if it is mould, its only just begun. hope its not for your crop

preflower site? yeah, the little calyx' in the corners of the stems seem a little darker in color. But only on the surface, they seem green/light inside.
I don't have a pic, but some of the buried sugar leaves with dead tips, the have dark trichomes on them, kind of look sandy or dirty.

So I guess the question is after I've chopped these and hung to dry, if this doesn't progress past what it looks like now will I be ok?
I took a look and there's quite a few darker trichomes in some parts. So it's probably past due for harvest.

If it matters; 4-5 days ago I had let it dry out too much and the branches all sagged under the weight.. I fed plain water and propped everything up. It popped back up by the next day, but then the leaves started to quickly turn.

Bud Rot, as it's name suggests, is in the buds not the leaves. It'll be inside the buds and turns it all to a brown powder. Do not disturb or the spores will go everywhere. Generally you need very high humidity to get it indoors. It tends to happen more outside with lots of rain and cool temps tho I had it once indoors. Put a bag over the afflicted cola and seal it around the stem then chop it off and get it the hell out of there.

Those little pre-flowers dry up and go brown. Pick them off and put 'em in a pipe for a good hit.

Thanks, I had some bud rot last year with wet outdoor weather.. It was obvious and I removed the affected area... I was just nervous because the leaves were all dying on the buds so suddenly and where it met the stem seemed to be darker in color, I had read that bud rot can start this way... but it's everywhere not in one spot and they're dried and crispy so it's probably just the plant being in its final days and letting the leaves die.

I've got it all chopped and hanging in my garage now.
