bud trmmers. which one do you use

I have trimmed by hand yeah takes fucking for ever. I have used a trim pro rotor kicks ass. only problem is its not mine don't want to keep borrowing it . and I don't want to spend 1400 bucks on it. so asking suggestion on one that is as good or close to it at a fraction of the price. thanks for your times . fellow smokers and farmers.

why is it , every time I ask a question . I never get any response. so every body here hand trims ? or uses the trim pro rotor ? not one person uses a bud trim machine. I guess you have to know how to grow before you have a problem trimming .

i use a spinpro hand crank thingy. works fine for under a pound at a time.

I dont use a trimmer but i use a bonsai trimming kit and a bottle of resin clean. Then i get really stoned and spend an hour trimming.

The good ones are gonna be kinda pricey. The big outdoor folk use trimmers in the 4-10k range. Ive seen some of those smaller spin trimmers like the one posted above work decently well. The biggest thing about it is you have to hang dry it and make sure the small leaves don't stick to the bud or they wont get sucked off. from what I have seen of bud trimmers, even the really expensive ones wont be the same quality of a persision hand trim but it will defiantly be smokable/acceptable.

I can't find it but there was a thread very recently about this (or maybe it was a diff thread that just segued to trimmers, which would explain why I cant find it) that had some pretty shining reviews of a medium sized trimmer (around the size of a coal grill) for like $400-500.

I bought one for 150 on ebay thats a bowl style hand crank with soft silicone fingers, works GREAT for dense round nugs but some of the stuff that is loose and airy it will tear into smaller nugs which however will be trimmed nicely, I use it as a supplement and still pay for hand trim for the tops and big pieces that dont work so well in the bowl trimmer. ezzzzzzz

i like to hang branches so that bowl thing doesnt work to well

i use the spin pro, does a quality job, all in all had it for around 2 yrs so its trimmed around 320oz and still on the 1st blade, plus catches all the trim so you can extract.,

The newest thing at my local grow store and I heard about on the radio is called The Magic Trimmer. You can see it in use on Youtube.

let us know how it works. I would pay that for a motorized one. not willing to pay much more than that at this point though. I purposely run perpetual so I dont have to trim more than a lb at a time.
