What's up local springs growers I recently set out in springs to see what clones I could find at the local shops. The grow also included a budget setup only because I wanted to see how much it effected quality from my previous grows with my nice equipment. All items were bought used off craigslist or new at the hydro store or online. Here's a list of the items.

grow lab tent gl120-120.00 used
hps/mh Apollo 400w with wing-89.00-new
sunleaves 6" inline fan -70.00 used
hydrofarm 4"inline fan-50.00 used
hydrofarm 6" inline booster 65.00 new
gotham 6" cool tube with reflector-50.00 new
4" carbon charcoal filter- 40.00 new
mini space heater-15.00 new
hydrometer- 5.00 new
ph test kit-5.00 new
2 small fans-6.00 new
kool bloom-18.00
2 bags of ffof-36.00
misc items-25.00
free co2 pad sample pack.

since this is such a small grow I was able to source sample nutes of the flora duo a and b, rapid start, flouralicious plus and free ph up and down. Remember I'm trying to keep this as cheap as I can and still try to achieve acceptable results. Now to the clone shopping.

I bought clones from 3 different places as following.
mc caregiver- Maui waui, white widow and island sweet skunk. 25.00 each The mw and WW came in big rock wool cubes and were fairly healthy. The ISS came in coco and had fungus nats. Took care of them in the quarantine room.

Strawberry Fields- 1 white snake 15.00 I ended up removing this one as it didn't take so well.

acme smoke-1 of each- 10.00 each sage and sour, chiesel, chemdawg, sweet tooth 12.00

The Maui was vegged the longest @ 28 days. The white widow and island sweet skunk saw 19 days and the other clones saw 10 days. On to some pics. They've been in flower for 10 days meow, let me know if you have questions!

Everything is coming along well, some salt build up is occurring so I flushed this morning. This is the Maui with some salt build up.

How do you know when you have salt build up?
So you see in the above picture how the leaf at the top of bud site are really raised and look like small ridges from a mountain? Well that's just the start of some Salt build up occurring, these gh products recommend a flush every 1-3 watering a. I will go out and take a picture soon before the lights go out but the flushing I did yesterday helped significantly. After you flush 2 gallons of water to every gallon of soil to wash away the salt, feed half strength nutes.

@Jty92279 here are some pics to help tell the difference. Keep in mind all strains are different and handle feedings differently. On to the pictures. The first picture is white widow, notice the difference. The feedings on this plant have been about a cycle behind so it hasn't built up as much. The picture that is yellow in color from the hps light is the Maui after the flush and half strength feeding. The last pic is the island sweet skunk and has been feed the max amount

So it's been an eventful past few days in the garden. I ended up pulling the sweet tooth and chemdawg due to two small spots of some PM. A quick look under the microscope and it's confirmed. In my years of growing I just pull to protect the crop. Since then I cleaned up the bottom foiliage, put a small USB fan down there and bumped the temp to 76*+ and 45% humidity. I had it at 72* with 50% when the breakout occurred. I 100% attribute this case to poor circulation and over crowding. I know better, just tried to swing for the fences a little to early.

here is an updated shot and everything's looking happy!

Here's some pics at day 19 of 12/12 the Maui waui is the only plant starting to trich up, the chiesel's and ww arnt far behind. The ISS and sage and sour have are slower along but they are also sativa dom.

anyone grown Maui waui? The second pic is the Maui and obviously this cut I have is indica dominate and from what I believe to know it should be sativa.

Alright guys here's a little update: Maui had a a mag def so I fed it 2 teaspoons Epsom salts per gallon and should see it clear up shortly.

Also put in one of my hydrofarm hoods, the cool tube didn't cut it and I couldn't stand the amount of hotspots it created. On to the pics!

So it's been quite a while since I've updated any issues I've run into. The Maui being the biggest plant sat on the ground for its entire life until a couple cold nights left it with a mag def which led to an N od. Since all that everything was flushed and leeched with according nutes. It's day 33 and they are putting on some really good size already. Also to finish the last 4 weeks or so I installed another 400w aircooled to compensate the Maui being off the ground. It's still recouping from its heavy n dose but all is looking great.
