Buds falling off plant

Has anyone ever had an issue with the small buds near the bottom of the plant falling off? I'm wondering if they are getting weak like the lower leaves and all the energy is being directed to the cola's (definitely not a bad thing). I'm in week 6 of flower and over the past 3 days, buds on the very lower parts of the branches are falling off. Deficiency? Energy being redirected? Lack of light?

If buds are falling off you have some sort of rot or something I believe

Nutes and ph are fine. I had a MG deficiency in week 5 but that's been fixed. I thought root rot too but checked the roots and what I can see appears to be healthy. If they're rotting in the middle, I guess there's no hope there. Only two weeks left to harvest. I hope they make it...

I've never seen a bud fall off yet. Sounds like you have a serious problem that you just aren't seeing. Even if all the leaves on the bottom die the buds just sit there doing nothing they don't normally die and fall off.

It's only the very lower buds and it has only been 2 or 3. Nothing major. I'm two weeks out. Hopefully, the rest will survive. Thanks everyone.

do you know your strain flower time. ive never seen buds die, but have seen them fall off due to weight and lower branches didnt support. if bud falls off it wont die just dry it

Thats a trip to have your lowers falling off. never heard of it. I saw that you mentioned a mag def at week 5 what were your symptoms. Not to jack your thread, but I got one going check out my pics under the sealed room. I think it could be mag def. How big are the buds that are falling off, popcorn or some weight?

are the lower budsites getting any light? wot lights are yu using?

I don't know the strain flower time; they're just bag seeds. Lower bud sites are not getting that much light. Only what reflects off the mylar. Good call. I didn't think about that initially. I'm using a 400 watt HPS at the moment. I wish they fell off when they were done. I checked the trichs and they still have some maturing to do.

My initial symptoms were leaf edges curling upward, dying brown spots spreading throughout the leaf. I have pictures in my profile if you are able to view them.
