buds not changing color

hey so i have a sativa that is really far in flowering but the buds aren't turning red, they are still all very much white. there might be a hair here or there that is red but not like my other plant. The buds are big and all but they are not changing. Should i harvest anyways?

don't pull the plant if the trichomes aren't at least cloudy! the hairs will turn while they're drying, so don't worry about that. but hairs are a shitty sign of done-ness, you must examine the trichomes.

Wow thanks man, I didn't look at the tri's yet. I'm gonna take them to work soon and look at them under the microscope. Hopefully they will look done.

How many weeks is she? Some sativas can take 14 weeks or longer!

you may have picked an unfortunate strain to grow for the region you live in.

it is about 10 weeks. the strain is different then the other plant, but after waiting a couple days they have actually started to change surprisingly. i'll try to post some pictures in the next day to show you guys. the buds are starting to get pretty dam big now. i'll report back soon.

are you using leds or something? those buds dont even look anywhere near being done.

agreed on not being near done. after 10 weeks, you still look like you've got a good slog ahead of you

no i'm not using leds, the buds look fine now, they just took a while to change, i guess these tend to so i'm not really worried about it.
