Buds smell musty

The buds curing in jars smell musty and dirt-like. Does the musty smell mean mold? When jarring, I noticed a couple of buds that had white mold on them and threw them out. The rest of the buds look fine, they just smell like a dirt clod.

could be ok still, could you id the plant that had mold? those are the most likely suspects, but if the stuff is really moist still, it can smell like drying hay, maybe even dirt...
