Okay so i set a grow room in this small perfect closet that used to be for storing jarred food.
The only problem is that its underneath the front porch and i'm having all kinds of bugs come in through the wood.
The floor is dirt and i had a terrible gnat problem on my first grow.
I used fly catchers and spray and on the second grow i covered the dirt because i thought that was the problem.
Come to find out that ants and flying ants and a few gnats still are coming in throught the wood in the sides of the porch and the top.
I've been spraying heavy doses of ant and gnat killer along the walls but there persistent.
Now i have a bunch of crippled sick bugs crawling around from the spray lol. does someone have a better method please? :joint:

I suggest Fox Farms Don't bug me. Its like $13 and worth every penny, you can actually spray your "flowers" without any harm. As far as your homes bug problem, I'd look into having a professional come to the house, sounds pretty severe :-?

I just read about Azamax from GH. It's all organic and you can use it up untill the day you harvest. You may also want to get some panda plastic, a staple gun, and some gorilla tape and seal off your room so no bugs get in.

If you have bugs, especially fungas gnats which bore into your soil and roots, and they are real bad in other words your plants aren't growing much the leavs are showing signs of nutrient deficiancy. Your best bet might be to get the plants out of the area, treat it real good so you are sure you have no bugs in there and then take a bunch of good cuttings and start over you will be very happy you did, things will progress along much faster and you will not have ANY bugs if you constantly monitor and use prev. measures if you feel you need to.

Also Gnatrol is very good you mix it with your nutes and feed your plants with it. It gets the larve, very important, almost anything will kill the flying ones. Hope this helps :joint:

thanks alot i got some panda plastic and guerilla tape to cover up the dirt floor and i have a table to keep the plants off the floor with my water supply and a heater under the table but sealing off the entire room would be a good idea. thanks for the suggestions +rep for you my friend!

No probs, I had gnats pretty bad once that came in and got way out of control before I realized what was really going on, and treating the really bad plants didn't do any good it killed some of the larve but not all and they just kept comming back. That is the only reason I suggest getting rid of any of the "precious" ladies. Hope this helps :joint:
