How long is a HPS bulb good for? / how often should they be replaced?

If you are Vegging with your bulb replace once a year, if its just flower bulb but running everyday, as if u were running a flip flop than 1.5 years. These are the numbers to follow. But dont toss your old bulbs out, keep them in-case u need to investigate wtf is up if there is an error etc.

I mean to say, VEG and Flower with your bulbs replace once a year...

Typically just for sake of my own sanity I replace once a year all of my bulbs.

when you lose in yeild what it cost in bulbs, that's when you should switch, or sooner. stay high

The guy at my hydro shop says the company's would say a year but he would go with 9 months to be safe. So depending on how rich you feel seems like between 9 and 12 months will keep you covered for using the same lamp to veg then flower

12 months as the consumer bud! 12 is the consensus and 12 months is still being really fair!
