Been a while since I did one of these grow things. Majic Bean Co, Bum Wine. Was told it is some of Ronin's work. Growing in coco and perilite, Flora Nova nutes, Grow then Bloom, Cal-Mag Plus and Monster Bloom weekly when they start budding. Please feel free to contribute as we are always learning.

I use the coffee filter to germinate in inside of a baggie hanging in my closet. This method works great for me. Rarely do I not get a seed to pop. This was done on 5/22

Transplanted 2 of the Bum Wine to the coco. I have to prepare another pot this later this morning, have to make a coco run later today. They got a little lanky but when that happens I just plant deeper in the pop. Here is a couple of shots of my Pineapple Express with the late budder in the corner. The switch to 12/12 for a few days did the trick, she's started to bloom yesterday. I did a litle more LST to her, she is getting too tall for my liking. The others are Dois Si Dois and 2 Zkittles. I had a damn mouse eating the bases of 3 of the Zkittles before I saw the damage it caused. Little shit cost me 2 of the Zkittles... Thats a $1000 a plant. That hurts!

Zlittles are the 2 smaller plants behind the Bum Wine. I'm not impressed with either strain. Unless they really start doing something these may be 1 timers 019.jpg

I have some kind of little bug on my babies. I don't know what they are and can't find a pic of any like them. Can anybody identify these fuckers. I had some Mighty Wash left from a spider mite problem I had a couple of yrs ago and hit em with that yesterday but I found some live ones this morning...:wall:

They are thrips. Been hitting them with Neem oil and potassium soap and water. Seems to be doing the trick the only bad part is I have to spray every 3 days for 21 days, the life cycle of that damn pest. Got em from reusing my coco. Had a big plastic bin I had been keeping it in and I started just knocking off some from the root balls when I harvested. Bad idea... Nothing but new shit from here on out. In 10 yrs of growing inside with coco it is only my 2nd time having pest. Thew first time was spider mites I got from a buddy's clone. That was a bitch also. Had to completely tear down my 4' x 8' grow tent and start all over sanitized. Basically did the same this time but I'm using a whole room and grow in a 4' x 8' flood table. Was growing 10 plants Harvested the 3 Pineapple Express, they weren't infected yet. My 2 Dois Si Dois's are budding nicely and really hate spraying them but will stop a couple of weeks before the cut. the rest are just showing sex. and the Bum Wine are still babies. I shall survive this. :bigjoint:

Damn pests are the worst part of growing as far as I'm concerned!

I'm following along man, I almost bought those Bum Wine beans so I'm real curious how they turn out for ya.

Man I finished that grow and have grow that strain 2 more time. Great tasting smoke and a nice couch lock I shoot for. Definately on my top 10 favorites. Will grow again. Gotta get thru my Strawberry pie, Gorilla Cookies, Gelato, zkittles and LSD 25. All great and will be run again. Bum Wine will roll around again.

What's the benefit to using that germination method? Never heard of it before. My last bunch using the folded paper towel method didn't germinate. But I blame the seeds.

Use coffee filters. 2. Wet em, squeeze out excess water. I never put more.than seeds5 in one fold it over so it fits in a sqr snack baggie and I hang in a closet for about 3 days. I use a close pin to clip it to the edge
of a cardboard box. Usually 100% germination

I'm a huge fan of Bum Wine too. I've grown it a couple times and it has a great structure for training and can get big. Great funky flavor and good indica hybrid for pain and chilling. Magic has killer stuff.
