Has anyone ever ordered Herbie's seeds that's from the u.s? I usually get my seeds from ilgm but I found seedsman and Herbie's and they are cheaper but I don't know if they are legit so if anyone can help that would be much appreciated

Back in 2012 they were great. Since then stateside options seem better.
How is stateside better besides speed? Because it seems like the u.s seed banks are way over priced even for low end seeds but I've only grew a few times so I dont know the difference

Herbie's is okay but shipping is more for the stealth option and I just buy state side. Greenpoint is okay and not very spendy. I haven't tried very many other US banks but see the prices are kinda high.

With just a few exceptions, you're looking at vastly better genetics on average coming from an American bank rather than herbies, since they are in deep with all the old Euro brands that have sort of fallen from grace. A lot of those places produced amazing plants in the 90s but let things slip. I used to always order from Attitude, and they would still be a good bet for you if you want to stick with the same breeders, but you won't regret trying one of the good American breeders. Heck, RIGHT NOW, today only, you can go to the Tiki Madman site, look for his "flag promotion" which is his large 3X5 flag, and it comes with a pack of testers and stickers all for $30! I doubt you will find better seeds anywhere for $30 AND get a pirate flag!! Yarrr

My experience with herbies is great. My plants look to be doing awesome and they have shipped faster than any bank I've bought from before. A+

And how does one find out about these promos beforehand?
Instagram, but I don't have Instagram so a VERY nice person here let me know the other day. Most of these breeders use Instagram for this kind of thing nowadays, I guess I should get onboard.

Linda Seeds is just awesome. The US growers and company sites like DC Seed Exchange, JBC Seeds, AK Bean Brains, Shoreline Genetics... reliable, great

Karma has some great stuff but I find him hard to deal with...

Really though, some of the best vendors I've dealt with are small timers on strainly.com

I'll vote for DC Seed Exchange too. You can order packs for really reasonable prices that produce great plants. There's plenty of more expensive choices there, but breeders like GuamMaineian Gardens, Brisco's Bargain Beans, Useful Seeds and Bob Bitchen's Beans sell 10 packs of regular seeds for as low as $39. There's some killer plants to be found in those guys genetics, just take a look on the seed and strain forum for their threads. They ship quickly and have killer customer service as well.
